love these wolves!! def my fav tame. no saddle and fairly easy to knockout and tame if you know what you're doing. i would recommend taming these because it has a pack thingy and you can obviously kill a lot of things with these in a pack, do level them up though.

When tamed, they are ADORABLE, trust me. I am 10 years old and I tamed two they are so cute when they where hats too!(and they look fancy, even for me, a boy) and I want to show people how to build a area for they’re own dire wolves! So you will need two standing torches, a feeding trough, and a few sleeping bags (idk if it works on pc) so first,collied the sleeping bags together (2 bags are fine) and next to it I forgot to mention get a storage box. Then put that next to the sleeping bags and put some of. The torches around for light. Then place the trough and done! just like that you got a area for your dire wolves(or wolf)

On mobile if u have a heavy minors helmet equib it on the wolf and ez light source not needed for torch’s

If ur on mobile do the hunt mega piranha quest then it should give u a sword or pike I got a sword so go to the snow cave if u have 33 ancient amber use ur spy glass to see what there lvl are then kill one take its cord or what the thing is called go to revival platform revive it it should be high lvl then once’s u find on wild I got one and it gets 300 hp every point!!

Step 1 get good wolf, equip with good helm

Step 2 go to Yeti cave, get the highest implant

Step 3 revive, breed, breed, breed

Step 4 farm XP at Yeti cave

Congratulations, you have rule the server!

There should be a x direwolfs. That spawn in the Arctic or jotumheim or any cold areas

This is the best take on scorched earth I have an army and still breeding level up health and dmage

The reason they are so good at gathering angler gel is cuz of deathworms they drop angler gel

Extremely useful in early game scorched earth mainly for the fact of not needing a saddle to ride

In the ice cave when you first come in like the crawl side if you lure a wolf and walk backwards they can get stuck and can’t escape just tranq it and cryo it out and get a breeding pair get some babies imprinted and just destroy all caves and alphas

No saddle, points out explorer notes, easy to breed and hunt in packs; whats not to love

I got a few of these on mobile with a rex bone helmet skin on ascendant quality hats, my best does about 500 damage and has 3500 health. I named them all Hell Hound Guards, this proves how deadly dire wolves can be. Oh and with the pack bonus the damage increases to the point where it can kill a rex by only 2 bites.

You can get angler gel from the snails (mobile version) it gets like 60-100

You can equip a helmet on them on mobile so if you’re gonna go caving slap an ascendant flak helmet on one of your pupper if you can craft one

Do try to breed them for extra damage and damage resistance too

Imagine riding an allo pack into battle, with 10 of these following. You would be unstoppable. TEAMWORK!!!

They are good at getting you prime meat

Awesome tames! I have around fourteen, and most are 99% imprinted. A couple are 100%. But, great for hide, and if you level their health up, and then focus on the alphas stamina, and then melee for all, you get an unstoppable pack. Mine can go through an alpha Rex pretty quickly, and without any casualties. Hope this helps!
