I breed direwolves and use them for running the artifact caves. A fully imprinted wolf can be significantly better than most dinos that would fit in one of those caves, even with no armor.

I got one of these bad boys and they are awesome! I would suggest having at least 4 wolves, 2 females and 2 males, so you can breed and have the alpha boost. The Dire Wolves Are also good out in the wild! They help take out agro things like: sabers, thorny dragon’s, and even kapro’s if their near water!

I tamed one of these as a beginner in scorched earth they are great for getting around and protecting you form wild Dinos plus they gather a ton of keratin/chiltn and hide.

love these wolves!! def my fav tame. no saddle and fairly easy to knockout and tame if you know what you're doing. i would recommend taming these because it has a pack thingy and you can obviously kill a lot of things with these in a pack, do level them up though.

the best way to tame dire wolf without trap and separate them from pack by using tapejara. tapejara has the ability to hang on cliff side which make it easy to tame without fight or make them run if it cant catch you.

These things are AMAZING!!!! 3 or 4 of them can take down brontos easy, especially with the pack howl enabled. I would definitely recommend getting these guys. 🐺s are amazing

Take into consideration it's rated number 4 for chitin, I left the southern cave on my 198 wolf with 3 levels and 4.5k chitin, make sure you go through your inventory after every swarm of spiders

If you play on mobile, kill two or more in the yeti cave and then revive, breed, and imprint(better if you get one male and a few more females) and before you even noticed it, you'll have an unstoppable wolf pack that can shred everything except a titanosoaur( I dont recommend even trying to kill a titanosaur with wolves)

They are honestly the cutest rideable creature ever, they are even more cute when you see them level up

A pack of 3 tamed dire wolves can tank parasaurs,raptors,trikes,stegos,sarcos and even therizino’s and could take down a diplo in like 20 seconds.

Easy to tame just get one alone Bola it and shoot with tranqs only ten should be required for a low level and they make brilliant early tames for gathering huge amounts of hide for armour and saddles and need no saddle themself! Also only takes a bit of meat to tame (using the soothing balm in mobile you could tame one instantly)brilliant when just starting off and still useful at high level! Also they have extremely varied colour in the wild so you can just pick the ones you like and breed them(wolves are easy to breed and raise)to get armies of your favourite wolf colours(or in PVP make your wolf army nearly invisible by breeding black ones and wearing black ghillie to blend en with shadowy bushes)🐺

You can put hooman helmet on them, like flak helmet. This help to give them additional armor. Btw i tried this on mobile, idk if work on pc👍

Wild card made it so getting an army of perfect mutated dinos requires stupid amounts of baby killing and dozens of generations of incest.

While your riding these at Super speed, don't go jumping cliffs as they take more damage, a single jump on a cliff gets you at half health, best if you lvl up it's health, or just avoid cliffs, that's good too.
