These things are great scouts and have amazing damage for their size. Be careful when taming. Try to trap them so they cant hit you or escape when taming. Always make sure you have stamina on them as they dont move fast when winded.

Dire wolfs are good for protecting yourbase.

The Yeti cave in ARK Mobile is a great source of high lvl wolves. Grab a high lvl implant, revive, then tame the wolf. I have a lvl 865 with 2000% melee damage...

If you are on foot with a friend and encounter a pack of 6, kick your friend in the balls and dip. The friend will forgive you.....eventually.

If u r on ark mobile, then go in the snow cave because they have double level dire wolves compared to the natural spawn ones but with atleast 1000 total armor(u can check it where the character's stats are shown) and kill some with a long range weapon or very good sword but DO NOT HARVEST THERE BODY and take their implant and run out and collect some amber by collecting drops or by farming easy caves and then revive the Wolf and tame it. BOOM now u have a very high level dire Wolf and u can pump up its stats and use it to do other caves or even this one. Thank you!!

Actually pretty easy to tame! Just get a pterodactyl (this is once you get saddle) and get hide on! Fur if you can or wear and otter that’ll help a bit. Make one aggro on you and make a cage (stone) and lead it to the cage with rams going up it. Doesn’t have to be big! Cheap one can be.. (2 stone foundations, 5 stone. Doorways and stone ramps.) hope this helps! Press that arrow pointing up :D

Dire wolves are so strong I have a pack and nothing can beat them except a Giga. I highly recommend them.

I raised a baby dire to juvenile hood then he stared at me and starved right before my eyes as I got back from hunting

The Direwolfs found at the Cave Of The Strong at the north are tameable btw...I tamed 3 of those and oh boy, I can destroy everything I see, anything except something stronger like Giga.

Very good when a friend kills a mammoth and you use your wolf for pelt.

-1 wooden ramp

I use fly on my argi and slowly go up the ramp with the wolf following, then howler above the trap. Onse I tame my dire wolf, I carry it back home with my argi.

Make a mental about breeding: make sure wolves are passive. After the gestational stage the baby is left " inside" the mother. If the mother is not on passive, when the baby is born they will kill it. I've lost many younglings bc I wasn't paying attention & moving them out the way.

They can were hats like otters and they look awesome with them on

Here's how to tame a dire wolf in ark mobile first you'll need a trap craft up a foundation and some door frames this is an easy trap next make sure you have some tranq arrows or darts next make sure you have a argentavis now find a dire wolf they can be found in the snowy parts of the map once you find the dire wolf you want grab it with your argentavis and bring in to the trap then drop it in now start shooting it with tranq arrows or darts after it's knocked out put in some prime meat or kibble if you can get your hands on it now you have an dire wolf there is no need for a saddle they also make great starter cave tames as they are fast and pretty strong hope that helped
