Easiest way to solo tame it, is probably to let one of your tames tank while you whale on it. Safest, is to use a stone taming pen. These guys are great, I on,y have lvl 80's, but I have five. Melt brontos in seconds.

A good way to tame anything is a Dino tamping pen mine is a 2x2 with a Dino gate and window works fine and I get a level 150 wolf from it

Step One: Pick up wild Direwolf with Argy.

Step Two: Hover over your base while tribemate shoots tranq darts at the wolf in your talons.

Step Three: Grab some prime meat and tame from safety of your back yard.

You dont need an sadle after you tamed it and if u jump u get a boost. Easy tame and highly recommended

Build a small cage near you're Base from 4x4 and 2walls high with few windows, pick one up and put it in to easy KO , can do this to tame many different dinos

If u dont have an argent then i suggest getting some freinds with tranqs and hitting it with everything you've got ounce down its pretty strait forward shove food i his mouth and wait for an hour

Make sure you have tranq arrows and a friend, and your friends needs to hover over the Wolf so he will attack your friend . And you are spamming DARTS

To tame these woofys , go to the snow biome and bring 2 stone foundations , and 6 doorframes for a trap. Then find one you like (color gender or level wise) and pick it up with an argy or a snow owl. Put it in the trap and knock it with anything that isn't a club or a slingshot. Give it any food you want and name it!(If it gets low on health , and you have a snow owl , use the freeze heal ability. Merry tipmas! (and Christmas of course) Hope raptor claus gave ya a gift! Heres another tipmas gift for yall wanting an overgrown puppy!

Remember: Tame more than one. Trust me. Add a few raptors too. They cant be bolad. The more direwolfs the more invincible.

Tame: get to a high place! Or fly. ✨Yeet them tranq arrows or darts at them pupskerdoodles✨ till knocked to their sleepyness.

Food: they are carnivores fish dont do well

Leveling up tips: level up their: stamina, melee, and speed

Some special features: whomever is pack leader (need more than two) use the special attack trigger and it causes a attack dmg increase for a set amount of time. They also need ✨no saddles✨

Name ideas: based on their colors name them after an object (with those colors) put a space (or no) and put pup! Ex: (colors red and white) Candycane pup

Ive tamed about 20-30 of these (breeding included) so im a master at dese puppy dogs! Have a good tame in the game and merry tipmas and Christmas!
