Here is a tip for taming a direwolf

Just get the high ground and bola the intere pack and you can kill everyone except one and tame it or you Could even game them all.

So- all you need is a high-health iguanodon (on mobile easy)

And then get a lone low-level wolf. Don’t forget your raw meat, narcotics, and tranq arrows with your bow of course.

for the person that says he knocked out a wolf and it dissapears,its because your wolf is knocked out on a fake surface(rocks,unrendered,etc).

you can use camera mode to see under the surface because its usually drowned to the ground,its not lost.

They seem to only take one or two tranqs and only need like forty meat.I love my two wolves Alpha and Omega!

Just knocked out a whole pack of 8 from a cliff - ran out of kibble :( only got 5

I've tamed a pack of mate boosted Dire Wolves and put nothing but melee into them. The reason being is they never leave base, and are made specifically for shredding turtles. Trust me, 8 of these mate boosted at 600+ melee damage, turtles stand no chance.

Be shit scared if your a low level character on scorched a level 5 one killed me and my mate for over an hour continuous before we tamed the bastard. There fast as fuck.

Best way to tame it is to grab it on your argi from its pack so you don't have to kill the others then you can tame it easier

These guys are fast so i would recommend bringing an argentavis and bring it to a taming pen that consists of door frames <doors optional> and tranq it

Either drop the dire wolf in a two long and one wide stone box with window frames or have a tribe mate hold the wolf in the air while you shoot the wolf every five seconds

no need tips or tricks just knock- out one. tame them done no worries about the saddle cuz they Don't need saddle lol easy tame but very STOENGGG

I highly recommend these tames. They are even better if you have a pack of high level direwolves, and even better, to have them mate boosted. The best way to tame them is to build a trap, (I would recommend at least 6 foundations and a 2 wall high of doorframes) use an arent or something that can pick them up,(quetzal, wyvern, etc) drop the direwolf in a trap and use whatever knock out equipment you have. (Bow and tranq arrows, crossbow, etc). You have a direwolf! Up if helpful.

Lead them to a wall and use dino gates and ko them alpha last it is best for me pls upvote -warriorofthedays

For trapping I use 2 stone foundations a stone wall with a reinforced door and stone walls all around up to 2 high and then 2 wood ramps leading into it

If you need high ascendent dire wolf then this trick is for everyone but if you dead then only for casual player

You need to tame a araneo araneo can be found in skylord cave hunter cave clever cave or if you need a ascendent araneo then go in immune cave but that's very difficult for taming araneo you required:- balm if you have, spoiled meat after you tame araneo

Pick your araneo or pick with your tame don't request him Let's go in strong cave but first wear fur in strong cave:-put a bed in strong cave entry then sit in araneo and find very high level dire wolf then kill it with araneo stand down after killing wolf then take wolf implant and take araneo if anybody not angry on you if you dead at that point take spawn at bed

Note:-dont leave araneo or don't hit dire wolf with sword only hit with araneo

All you gotta do is get a tanky animal put them on passive and then knock it out.

Yu know I tamed it:

First I got to level 25

Then I tamed a raptor

Then I maked a lot of tranq arrows and normal ones about 100 normal cause I got a 400 damage bow and 90 tanq arrows

Then I went to the cold area of the map

Then I saw 3 direwolves I bola them and knockout then all a temed them 1 is level 50 2 is level 150 and the 3rd one is level 200

They are too op on switch right? Almost impossible to tame yes?
