Killing its pack and single one of them out

I highly recommend these tames. They are even better if you have a pack of high level direwolves, and even better, to have them mate boosted. The best way to tame them is to build a trap, (I would recommend at least 6 foundations and a 2 wall high of doorframes) use an arent or something that can pick them up,(quetzal, wyvern, etc) drop the direwolf in a trap and use whatever knock out equipment you have. (Bow and tranq arrows, crossbow, etc). You have a direwolf! Up if helpful.

Just play doom music when going to winter biome

Do not underestimate the fluffy doggos. These guys in the wild with a pack buff can easily tear through herds of high lvl Mammoth and even the occasional unfortunate Rex. If you go in the north, bring either a bird or a really strong mount with good AOE.

Most animals who don’t have saddles you can equip them with helmets because they need some thing to protect them meaning the dire wolves can equip any helmet of your choice.

So- all you need is a high-health iguanodon (on mobile easy)

And then get a lone low-level wolf. Don’t forget your raw meat, narcotics, and tranq arrows with your bow of course.

for the person that says he knocked out a wolf and it dissapears,its because your wolf is knocked out on a fake surface(rocks,unrendered,etc).

you can use camera mode to see under the surface because its usually drowned to the ground,its not lost.

Can dire wolves in the snow cave be tamed for the cave creatures invisibility effect, where no creatures attack them?

If you ever need an Alpha Slayer, these are the creatures you need. They do decent knockback, and with 10k health and a helmet, you’ll be killing alpha rexes EZ

These guys are probably some of my favourite cave runners after their TLC (even more so now with the R-variants), swiftly replacing the Thyla. I also keep a pack on aggressive in my base, and they keep it clear of unwanted wilds with 0 issue.

why do they have colours around them?

You can only encounter direwolf on the island, center, extinction, and genesis part 1 in the snow biome. If on scorched earth they are everywhere, genesis part two same, rag same, and the other one is the same but not aberration.

You or you'll regret regret going into the Ice Age and meeting one of these these guys I went there just to get get some Crystal and there are was trapped by about 6 wolves level 100 to level 203 I was about level 15 and I died r i p me and wing nut. Wingnut was my very special pterodactyl I should have put put them on wander but I didn't and I didn't save his life I went back there again and then that are wolves I went back there again direwolves. Now don't get me wrong this is serious and this is a true story.
