Trap the Dire Wolf in a closed in area either between rocks with it trapped with bolas/Bear traps or hover with a Quetz platform and pick it off from above

When they aggro on to you in the snow area, try to put a mammoth or a rhino in between you and the wolf and take the time you have while they fight and run

If in a pack it will be harder because of you get one the others will try to help it out.

Use a bola and their it and Shoot it but watch out IF There is one wolf theres more

I only value it for gathering resources that animals carry, like Pelt or Chitin. Otherwise, not great. You'd need to use Tranq Arrows or Darts, or maybe an Eleyctro, to tame. Always use Raw Mutton, the most you have to wait with that is 49 min.

Put it in a safe place when taming

Pick up the highest level you can find and fly it to the volcano to trank easier than doing it in the frozen area

Great mount recommended for everything really. Seeing as this mount does not need a saddle it is a really good starting mount (especially for scorched earth). This mount gets even better with the buffs it receives from being in packs of tamed fire wolves. Perfect for the snow, desert, and jungle this mount is an extremely useful all terrain companion.

I found level 150 in a pack you can easily steal it with an Argy and trap it

I tamed one from the strong cave and kept on breeding+imprinting babies until I had a 1500% melee wolf

If there is only one you wish to tame get an argy with a high health stat pick it up a stone box to tranq it out

Use bolas to trap to stop it.tame only pack leaders.

I try to tame a dire wolf becuz it has no pack but I got inturuppted by a female Rex since I need it for breeding🤣🤣

Just run away or get onto your these mounts: woolly rhino, giga, spino, Rex,terror bird or brontosaurus

This thing is cringed. It will go out of this world when you went too far after you knocked it. Fortunately its taming process wont lost and continue until it wake. I tested and just got one lv 220 lost a 270 and 290. Just remember to make sure it have enough food and sleeps long enough to be tamed

I don’t know why but every time I tried to tame direwolfs I keep seeing Rex or some other Dino near the wolfs so be careful players. Also if the wolfs are in really big packs….. don’t tame just run.
