Tips & Strategies
Taming Dire wolves (best and easiest method) trust me. All u need:
-wooden raft
-some wooden floors
-campfire
-(for wolf) meat or kibble
-wooden ramps
-bow
-some tranq and stone arrows
-narcotics(if you tamę higer than level 15)
-optional:soothing balm
-optional:spy glass
First build you ultimate taming boat: make a platform with floors and build an entery from ramps. Place campfire(it will warm you up). Head winter on right side of map (near griffin mountain). Swim along beach (stay in deep ocean), when it gets cold light campfire.
Stop when you see a pack of wolves. If you have spy glass look for a good level (remember its colour). When you choose wolf shot on one of them. Let it call its pack. Then swim some way more. Shot with stone arrows inneded creatures(remember megalodons will try to eat them). Make the choosen one swim to the boat. When it gets on raft fast bola it. Then shot it with tranqs. When it gets knocked drive it away cold and dangerous animals. Wait for hunger then feed it meat (optional blam) and narcos.
You tamed a Dire wolf! Fast cuddle it and give it a good name.
They are fast mounts, good atackers and cute, soft pets!

I try to tame a dire wolf becuz it has no pack but I got inturuppted by a female Rex since I need it for breeding🤣🤣
Someone put like 50 wolves on PC right in front of my base and set all of them on wander and aggressive. They were all around level 200-350 and one wolf does 50 damage, and has 2k hp. Lord help me.
Let’s say you want to tame a high-level DireWolf and you find yourself next to a pack, but you forgot your trusty spyglass. The best way to figure out which wolf has the highest level is to get close enough to where they howl but not so close that they can attack.(Remember, they come in packs and have high melee damage), once they howl, the highest-level wolf will emit a red-yellow aura, which usually means they have the highest level and are the alpha.

I tryed to trap one but the whole pack followed me in so now I have 6
I’m on mobile and I killed and revived 2 max level wolves and bred them to make a super OP wolf. He’s currently lvl 446 and I use him to no joke speed run the Ice cave multiple times to gather a lot of rewards and blueprints.

Did you know that the lvl 390s in the ice cave are tamable you make them agro bring to entrance we’re they can’t fit and tranq but make sure they don’t tame above max tamed lvl 450 good luck it takes 3 hours and 50 minutes to tame on 1x and 500 narcotics. When tamed you can breed super over powered wolves hope this is helpful and hope you read this it’s useful

If you’re wanting to tame a high level one, when you approach them, they will howl, and the highest level one in the pack will get red and yellow particles around it. Hope this helps and thanks for reading!
Make sure when picking it up that you make sure it’s face is facing the opposite way of you so it can’t bite :D press dat ^ arrow!

You will need:
Tranq arrows or darts doesn’t matter what (or a boomerang) may kill it though Also just a tip tranq arrows from a crossbow may kill it if a low lvl. BOLAS WORK ON THEM SO THAT IS THE BEST WAY
1. Bola (ofc)
2.knock it out
3. MEAT prime- or just normal doesn’t matter really just any meat :)

I think this creatures are too strong... my friend and me see a group of wolfs (we play on ps4) one lvl 140 another lvl 145 (on ps4 is max level of wild dinos 150) we bola all of the 4 wolfs, kill the lowlevels and tame the good ones. After tame we have a women and a men of wolfs (lvl210 and lvl214) and without more skilling they make 654 damage!!!!!! I think the Direwolfs must be not bolable. they opopopopop fithing dinos and very easy to tame. i hope you learn about this tipp and rate 🔼 this to other players see this (we have over 6 wolfs (breeded) and he are verrry strong) (tip: tame so many you can)
