You can tame a high level direwolf in the yeti cave (A.K.A the cave of the strong) they are located in the artic tundra, right near the blue pillar obelisk, if your in an easy difficulty, find one of these and you get a chance of taming a 120 level direwolf, the bad thing is, you cant tame them inside the yeti cave, so you need to revive them, save up 32 Amber's to revive them, and level melee, hp, stamina, and weight. If you have a flak helmet, make at least five flak helmets for your direwolf and make 2 flak helmets for yourself, once your inside the cave of the strong, put the helmet on your direwolf, and bring more than 100 medical brew if you are freezing, yetis in the cave will deal less damage to your direwolf if the direwolf has helmet. Make sure your direwolf has at least 400kg-500kg weight, you need to feed them with meat if they are injured badly, and your direwolf should have at least 4k-5k health, dont bring weak direwolf or you will die in a matter of a seconds.
