If he is knocked, he is easy to tame because he can also eat berrys. Not as effective as good meet, but its acceptable. He can gather fiber very well.

If your weapon gives a high chaceto kill in dododex, check for number of hits to flee. Shoot a few tranqs short of its flee value. Drop a couple of sleeping bags down, drop everything and jump in so that he can attack, kill, and most importantly eat you. If you respawn and your body is still there move towards him so his next bite eats your last body. This will heal him enough that you can now continue your KO without risk of it dying. Be sure to do this before he goes into flee mode because then he won’t attack you. Better still use longneck and darts but if you don’t have them unlocked yet, this method will always work.

Taming this bear can be fairly low stress depending on how safe the area is and how prepared you are. I would recommend bringing a cross bow with narcotic arrows, and a LARGE BEAR TRAP. I was able to tame one by placing a large bear trap in front of me, and shooting the bear from a distance until it got stuck in the trap. Make sure you keep shooting the bear with narcotic arrows as it approaches as it does take a little to knock it out, and they can break free from the trap, mine broke free from the trap before it fell unconscious. I would advise to place another trap either infront or directly behind the bear, as they tend to run away once they have been hit with about half the arrows they need to fall unconscious. Unless you want the extra levels, you don't necessarily need kibble, mutton, or prime, as I tamed a level 30 with around 10 pieces of raw meat. Honey is by far the best taming food, but chances are, your taming the beat so you can get the honey

If you want to knock it out with a crossbow, shoot it until it gets low then feed it a dead body of any dinosaur. This will make it get all of its health back allowing you to knock it out without killing it.

So my sister is crazy about bears 🐻. So we brought a bear over from the other server. ( a female named giggles) she really wanted to breed it with a male. One day there was a 150 male stuck in the castle wall on the island in the middle of the redwoods on lost island. My sister saw it and went nuts. I had to tame the bear. So I walked up to the bear and shot it with a dart. It wasn’t stuck. So I did the only sensible thing and ran. I jumped off the wall and glided I landed hard and got eaten by the bear. My sister wasn’t being very supportive and was laughing her head off. That stopped when I ate the bear with Yodels the yuty.

Guys you better tame it cuz it will make you become a pro bc it’s good for grinding herbs and meat bc I have one called hany he’s lvl 223 bc the owner of the server helped me to tame him so 1 like=1 love for hany :)

How to tame on of these :

I recommend using a trap since they run pretty fast and possibly into something dangerous. So let's go!

Step 1: Bring around 100 TranqArrows. Should be enough, depending on the level and your aim :'). Also make sure to bring something to keep him sleeping, depending on your settings.

Step 2: The trap. The basic 4 stone foundations, 8 doorframes and 2 stairs. You build 2x2 fountains and put all doorframes on it. Then build the stairs so you can walk on it.

Step 3 : Find a Freddy Fazbear you like to tame.

Step 4: Build the trap near your bear.

Step 5: Shoot the bear and lure him into the trap.

Step 6: Shoot it SLOWLY. It hasn't got much health and TranqArrows do 'a lot of damage'. Wait like a minute for each shoot when it starts bleeding.

Step 7: Feed it when it's knocked out. It eats kibble, meat, honey and berries.

Step 8: Have fun with your tame :)

Agro the bear then place a bear trap A BIG ONE. Then trap it with metal bill boards and start using tranq darts to knock it out

When it say 100% chance of death with your fist it means death for you not it

Best utility mount after theri can gather meat and berries also this guy can get 1k weight and almost 900 melee with enough lvls I know this because my bear ( name is teddy the bear) is stronger than my 209 Rex

With such a low breed timer and they're alternate swing being the same damage as a Rex they make ideal breeding and are great for meat runs very fast and have huge carry weights. A very good tame one of the best in my opinion

1. shoot it with tranq arrows

2. gather raw or raw prime meat if you don't have them

3. Return to the place where you knocked it down just to see it get eaten by terror birds ane carnos.

Aww a cute level 2, I'm level 70, I can take it.

Tip- the higher the level the better

I found a level 150 (max level on the server i play on)

I built a small trap so i could knock it out safely.

Used tranq arrows and a snow owl to heal them as i knocked them out

Only took 7 honey to tame them up with 100% effectiveness (the server is 3x so keep that in mind)

Trap i used- 4 stone foundations, 8 stone door frames, 6 stone fences, and two stone stairs

They are almost guaranteed to die if your using a crossbow so I definitely recommend using tranq darts also when trapping try to do a 2x2 rather than a 1x2 as with a 1x2 they can glitch out the trap or sometimes not fit

High level bears in Ragnarok ice cave can't be tamed. I used heaps of darts to knock out a lvl 300 only for it to not eat my honey >:(

High level dire bears CAN NOT be knocked with bow/crossbow. They will die before they KO. DON'T attempt.
