When you don't know anything about ark you think it is going to eat you. You go up to it, then it runs away from you with a smile.

You can ride them in mobile you HAVE to be IN WATER for it to work

You can ride along with share O2 it’s basically a entry lvl scuba tank. Swims fast just real low health

This animal is pretty nice to have. I don’t know it’s purpose yet. But it’s a pain in the butt to tame cause you have to worry about Baryonyx, and titanoboa. 😢

These can be a pain to spot cause of the overgrowth in the swamps etc. Just look for other dinos chasing something, I don't think iv ever found one that wasn't being chased by something else.

You think it’s all good just feeding it raw meat, so when I KO it I fed it raw meat then 36:28 later it tamed, waste of time but good for underwater experience.

On The Island you can find these more frequently at the Eastern swamp as opposed to the Western/Redwood swamp area.

Better pick up by Argy into a pen before taming.

Awesome for someone who hasn't pumped oxygen and wants to hit deep sea loot crates and get pearls. Tamed a 145 with prime and pumped speed and stam. Was my favorite underwater tame hands down. You still want to bring flippers though.

HELP NO IMPRINT OPTIONS SOLVED

If you love these creatures like me and want to breed them to get better stats you’ll probably want to read this. So this isn’t about taming them I’m sure you already know what a pain it is to keep one alive after knock out.

Rule 1. When you breed them they must stay in water NO MATTER WHAT OR BOOM!

Also when imprinting there is no option to imprint due to a bug in the game but the way around it is by walking it over and over until it imprints.

When I say walk I mean swim it because remember rule 1. The first time walk for about a minute if no imprint happens then cryo it and walk it again and repeat until it imprints. Your basically just rolling the dice until the walk option comes but you’ll never see what it actually wants so walking is the cheapest option.

Rule 2. Wear scuba, your going to be walking it a couple times most likely. Your going to run out of stamina and the last thing u want is to go on land to get stamina and the baby diplo follows u remember rule 1.

I feel like this poor lil newt thing is not respected enough, people say it useless but they are really good for collecting from trilobite and stuff and also they always are getting murdered by kapros, sarco, and titanoboa, they should be treated better!!!

You can only ride them AFTER they git in the water

Gives you as much oxygen as you need and really fast in the water. Absolutely recommend taming one (If you can find it)

The karpo can carry them with his secondary attack very useful for capturing them in the swamp

These guys take a while to tame so be sure to bring ither narcotics or bio toxin with ya

I play on mobile so I'm not sure if this works anywhere else but you don't need to dismount to gain oxygen, it gives you an almost infinite oxygen stat while mounted. (You do still have the ability to tap and get oxygen tho)

Pteranodon can pick up! Picked one up and put it far on land.
