Stories Tips
What are some stories about the dinopithecus? Memorable dinopithecus stories, wild encounters, and fan fiction.
Okay, am I the only one who is going to bring up the fact that these aren’t exclusive to the Lost Island?!?!(At least for single player). I have played on Valguero dozens of times after the release of The Lost Island and have been jumped by packs of these in the red woods riding my equuses or megaloceros around and nearly losing them. I play on console so I don’t have a special mod bringing them on. Am I the only one this has happened to? And if not, why am I the only one to mention it!!
The Treetop Tribes
Episode 9
Jim looked Sophia over. “Is it really you?” She asked. After these years, it’s you?” A tear of joy welled in Jim’s eye. “It Is!” He cried.
Some time later, after all of the sappy stuff and saying “it’s you” thirty times in a row, Jim looked at Sophia and felt ashamed. “ I’m sorry.” He said. Sophia gave him a weird look. “For what?” She asked “For leaving alone in that battle. I should’ve turned back and help fight.” Sophia looked over at him. “Don’t be.” I told you to run so you did. “Plus, I learned a lot from them. That’s why I left the emperor. They showed me what he really did. He burned city’s and stole everything they had. He took over all of the land that don’t have hundreds of dangerous predators and forced everyone else to live in the harshest environments. The emperor wasn’t good Jim. He was horrible. I hope you can realize. Understand. And Jim did. He had never really seen it before but he realized, the emperor was evil. He put his hand on Sophia’s shoulder. I’ll join your army.
The Treetop Tribes
Episode 9
Jim slammed his hammer down onto yet another sword. He felt like he had been forging these things for hours, though he knew that it had only been mere minutes. It was hot. Just so sweltering hot, some people next him passed out from exhaustion. Just as he felt he was about to do so, a guard came for him. He was escorted to meet Sophia, who was sitting at the end of one table, which had a chair at the other end. The guard who had escorted him left the room. Sophia pulled out a revolver. Jim’s eyes widened. He hadn’t seen one of those in ages! Not since the emperor had been ransacked. George wandered how this tribe was able to get it, one of the most primitiv- the project! This is what it was! Sophia pointed the revolver at him. You know this does, right? Jim gulped. “Yes.” He said. “Good.” Sophia said. “Then you will tell us all you know about the emperor.” Jim told her the little he knew. He wasn’t very high ranking. He talked about the weaponry, the armor, the base layout, everything he could to not get shot. He even told her about the incident. All of a sudden Sophia dropped her revolver. She ran over and hugged Jim, or as she reminders him, Carl.
Btw Tysm for all the support everyone! And thanks for the compliment HJK, it really made day a whole a lot better!
The Treetop Tribes
Episode 7
Jim woke up in his cell, the door unlocked. He went outside. He was still confined to his room but at least he could see outside. He looked through a hole in the wooden door. He saw that same room that reeked of death felt bad for the prisoners in there. He had never seen them get fed yet, and he had been here for a two days now. Suddenly the door to other entrance to his room swung open. It was Sophia. She sighed. “Looks like Tim forgot to lock up when he took your food.” She snorted. “Are you looking for some of your friends who may be out there, amongst the rest of your kind?” Jim silently sighed in annoyance. Here insults were getting annoying. “May I ask,” He turned around.” How were you raided.” Sophia sighed from sadness. “It was a week ago, just days before you got here.”
Sophia wandered around the jungle bow in hand. She looking for hide so that her tribe could make more armor and saddles. She spotted a dodo. “Perfect!”
She thought. She drew back the arrow on bow and was about to fire when- “THUD!” Sophia turned around. A giant foot came crashing down through the forest in front of her. And then another one. They were the feet of a rex. But rexes didn’t live anywhere around here unless- THEY WERE BEING RAIDING! Sophia rushed back towards here base. She knew she could beat the rex there, she knew these jungles like the back of her hand.
When she arrived at her base she climbed the ladder up the tree. “WERE BEING RAIDED!” She shouted at the top of her lungs. “SOUND THE ALARM!” People rushed toward the drums near the edge of the base. They started rapidly beating them. Sophia rushed down towards the armory. She reached for all the best weapons there tribe had. Reserved especially for moments like these. She grabbed a compound bow and around fifty metal arrows. Soon more people were flooding in, reaching for spears and pikes and swords and crossbows and compound bows and shield and everything else there was to grab. They all rushed out to their battle stations. They were right on time too, Because right as she stepped out, onto her position, the Rex came crashing through the trees. A volley of arrows erupted from both sides. Sophia follows her first instinct, which was to aim for the rex. But then she looked down and saw the terror birds and raptors and sabertooths rushing towards their base. She started firing on a raptor, which alerted it’s rider who proceeded to pull out a crossbow. Sophia tried to run but it was too late. The last thing she saw before she went out was s green arrow, flying straight at her face.
She woke up the next day in the medic chamber, where she noticed a an unusual amount of patients. All of them were injured in the war. She was told that luckily they arrow only pricked her though it was still enough to knock her out. She shuddered knowing that she was that close to death. She learned the next day that the base had been broken into where her tribe had stored everything. And only days before the emperors taxes were due. She knew that this would not be the last of the warfare to come.
Btw if you see this on the tenth it’s because I submitted these at like elven am, so 5, 6, and 7 are written in the ninth. Also, if the old five does finally pop up, screw it, just read the one with the super long apology letter at the top because it is WAY different from the original.
The Treetop Tribes
Episode 4
Jim raised his hands in a sign of surrender. The woman, Sophia, the leader of the tribe had said, escorted him to a room made entirely out of stone. When she opened the door, it reeked of death and dismay. He saw men crumpled over in their cells, as if they were asleep, even though it was nine in the morning. “Weren’t you just raided?” Jim asked. “Yes.” Sophia replied. But just because we lost does not mean we did not put up a fight.” She led him into another room. This one seemed much nicer. Here there was a toilet and a bed. She opened the door and led him inside the cell. “You’re lucky that you are not part of that tribe.” She said. “Otherwise you would be left in there to rot, just like the rest of them.” She closed the door to his cell, locking him behind the bars. “Personally I think you should.” And with that she slammed the door and went back outside. Jim put his head into his hands. It was just like what had happened last time.
The Treetop Tribes
Episode 3
Jim quickly stabbed the door with his spear. The tribe leader tried to get it out, but with no avail. “What do you mean by problems?” Jim asked. “W-well we lost them…” the Tribe Leader replied. “HOW can you lose 150 metal in taxes?” Jim snarled. “ This is smallest billing in years, and yet you can’t pay this one at all?” The Tribe Leader shrank in his seat. “There was a raid, they took all of our supplies and provisions.” “We’re barely hanging on as it is, which is why we can’t have you taking anymore of what we have gathered.” All of a sudden, the door burst open. The woman who had tried to kill him early was now pointing another weapon at his head; a very primitively made bow. “Sophia, take him to the prison rooms.” Said the Tribe Leader. “He is going to have a very long stay.”
Btw who disliked the first episode? It my first FF, so cut me some slack on it.
Jungle threat
Chap 7
Trees fell and animals fled as the giant dinopithecus king crashed through the forest. He stopped at a small stream and bent down to drink. Dinopithecus charged from all sides and cornered him as dinopithecus dropped from above and landed on him. "Attack!" Vine shouted. The dinopithecus charged in, closing the gap, and slashed and stabbed the king. The king swiped and slammed dinopithecus left and right, until the area started to fill with gas. The dinopithecus fled and the gas filled more and more. Thunder flew past and sparked a flame. The gas lit on fire and caused a massive explosion, killing whatever was in the range of it. The smoke subsided and dinopithecus ran in and searched the area. The king charged out of a thicket of trees and charged toward them. Just as he was about to hit them, he dropped dead from the explosion and blood loss. Vine walked towards the corpse, and confirmed that he was dead. Vine was about to walk away when something shined and caught his eye. Vine grabbed a strange orb, and it broke into pieces in his hand...

Jungle Threat
Chapter 3
(TW blood and death)
The amargasaurus charged at vine. He dodged a spike and a ice spike landed next to him. The cold seeped out of the spike, racing through vines body, freezing him. An amargasaurus spotted the opportunity and charged at Vine. The amargasaurus slammed vine into a tree with its tail, and lifted its foot up to crush his skull. The amargasaurus lifted into the air and started panicing. Thunder shot lighting at it and its lifless body fell to the ground.
"Get up, we have a fight to finish." Thunder ordered.
The ice finally melted and Vine charged back into battle. Vine stabbed an amargasaurus with its own spike, and cut another with a knife he stole from a human. Vine looked at the fight, searching for an opportunity. He spotted a fire spike about to land on his leader. Vine ran, but was too late. With a crash the spike impaled their leader, burning his corpse. Their leader let out a roar of pain, then colapsed.
Anger filed vines body as he searched for the amargasaurus who killed his leader. He spotted them and leapt onto its back. He stabbed it with its own spike and it colapsed, dead. He turned around, and saw the remaining amargasaurus fleeing back north. The day was won, but at what cost....
