This tip is super useful. If you want to breed dilos put them on turret mode while they are wandering. They won’t move but they still breed.

Bring some meat and a club on adventures and take a few of these to protect you if you don’t want your better Dino’s to get hurt

If anyones wondering how to get baby dilos put them on enabled wandering when you stuff then in a pen then wait and get the eggs put them by a campfire and wait then take care of it till adulthood

Get a pack of 10 dilos(high level dilos are easy to tame) when you are low level, just use your club while going around these or slingshot, once tamed set them to aggressive and keep eye on them , easy hide farm

You realize that the dilophosaur didn’t have poison or a drill thing that shoots it

With tamed dilos try to use a ranged weapon to help ensure that the spit attack won't accidently bounce off of you,a pack of 3-5 dilos can also take out most coastline enemies including the trike if need be

At a high level, this thing can do like 400 damage on level forty if you put your points to it. It’s so easy to tame it is definitely worth it to tame it.

Tame 5-6 of them

Make them aggressive

Enable them wander around your base

Boom! Op hide farm and security

If paired with a raptor they can be a good hunting party because their spit slows Dino’s and the raptors will finish the job with the dilos helping I have killed many with this strat including a bronto I don’t recommend taking on brontosaurus’s with them but it can be done

Dont make these spit turrets if youre low level. I made 5 dilos spit turrets, but they pissed off 2 mated trikes and destroyed my poor thatch base :(

Here’s a lil thing DILO BABYS ARE GREEDY AF and they are so small if you don’t have walls around them you will lose them

Sprint at it so that it doesn’t have time to spit at you, then knock it out

A pack of four or five make great guard dogs when you're working on stuff. Group of them took on three titanboas and won saved my butt.

One of the most annoying creatures in a new world , but you can tame them , 4-6 dilos are great for getting rid of some threats , great for collecting meat and hide for early games ... hope it helped

If you have a lot high level they can kill almost anything

You can kill them fairly easy with a stone axe and their eggs make a great food source

They're cannon fodder, like the grunts in halo. They're weak and useless with just a couple but get a swarm of dilos and you'll be able to kill most dinos you encounter early game except for like rexes and spinos

Along with immediately gathering resources for tools, clothes, and a temporary base, a new player should try to tame as many Dilos as possible. That's what I do anyway, I just tame every Dilo I see. Now I have a huge pack of Dilos that are an expendable way of fighting bigger dinos, but capable in a group. They are so easy to tame that it doesn't matter if some die. I level them up to about 400% speed (they start at 300%, at least on my server) and the. the rest goes into health and melee damage.
