Easy way to keep players and Dinos out your base

1. Tame 5-10 dilos (or tame 2 and breed them)

2. If you don’t already have one build a spiked wall around your base. For new Players- this is the most common ways to keep Dinos, adjust how large an area you leave within your walls depending on how many Dinos you have.

3. Let your Dilos wander within your walls, this will give anything that gets in and tries to attack you/ your tames a little chance of survival as Dilos are strong in packs.

4. Enjoy your peaceful life.

P.S- the spiked wall should keep creatures out in easier regions, this helps where anything that may break, jump over or fly over your walls lives.

Bonus Tip- In easier areas build a 1x1 box and get a dilo on top, fill their inventory until they are encumbered and enjoy your turret. (Build outside your walls of course).

To be honest,theyre good if they have high level meele damage,speed and weight(if ecumbered)i suggest its not just for begginers, I had two and they freaking killed a trike!Now i had 8 and lost 1 her name was Azula.Well before i died i had 4 dilos and alec the para.when i entered the forest and a raptor attacked me.They quickly attacked it!Plus its ability to spit venom that slows you down and makes youre vision.Have a pack of 100 dilos and they have level 800 or more and you can take down a therizino.Good Luck if you want to do that! :)

If you tame one and level it up enough it will work as a discount raptor, very good for new players

If you have a dodo, I highly recommend NOT to get these guys as tames. Tame or not they kill ur dodos.

When you on low level..it dangerous to you

But when you on high level *like you can tame t-rex)...it annoying to you.

This is a hateful creature, know why? Because when your first time playing ark survival Evolved you will spawn at a beach with dilos ( not at different worlds)

How do I breed them??? Ihave put them on "roam" mode and yet they aren't breeding

(This was a while ago) I'm a starter and new to ark and I see this thing. My tribe mate with me (a friend) told me from a research that I should club it. So I did and he fell to ground.he then told me to put it in he's inventory so I did. He tamed up (btw the dilo we tamed was like lvl 110 and my club broke so I took out a slingshot then proceeded.) We had a little starter wood shack (2 by 2) and he told me to put the dilo on the roof and put it on turret mode. So I did.. next day we got raided by a other tribe but my dilo spit at the raiding enemy's and killed em with spit. I told my tribe mate he was smart and then he said he researched it....... bruh.

This dino plus a dodo is an amazing escape plan. The dodo hits it and takes hits while the dilo uses it's spit to blind and slow the aggresser.
