I prefer to take eggs from hostile Dino’s like hissy spiting thing here, or from passive mobs like the dodo. :)

To slow and too stupid to adventure with, leave them home. Awesome as guard dogs for your base however.

The dilo really deserves a turret mode then it would be a hole lot more useful

I have a pack of 5 and we have taken down carnos sarcos and turtles easily.

If you want to reach your max number of tames and not waste any, kill your dilos. This is easier if you didn’t name them affectionately.

The only thing you need toknow about these dudes is that there AMAZING IN EVERY WAY POSSIBLE X3

I once had a baby Dilo who wanted rex kibble and I was like, WTF U NEVER SAW A REX! I GET MY BABY DODO BECAUSE IT WANTS RAPTOR KIBBLE AND I HAVE A LVL 231. If u harvest baby creatures they give prime meat. I know right, sounds dumb but so crazy it’s true. Up this so everyone can see this.

My dilophasaur (Dillweed) just murdered a Tek Parasaur. At first, I was upset because I was going to tame him, but then I checked his inventory and found electronics, element powder and scrap metal!

My tribe mate formed an army of like 30 of these dudes, only one lived a thero attack. The thero was barely heart in the end.😢

They are Not as effektive as one Expert. Hab 7 100+lvl in my wood base in aggressive and still got reidet

These guys are the poor man’s turret. An early tame, no need to worry about saddles, (you can’t ride them) so just simply think of them as spitting guard dogs. (Speed, Melee, Health)

I have a pack of four of them that I take with me everywhere along with my trike and parasaur. They're key members of my hunting party, each one of them do 300% melee damage

Make an army of them and once you have 12+ have them attack everything in sight and break all hell loose.

Easy knockout when first starting and can quickly collect meat and hide. Personal favorite.

Extremely good starter tame. Having even one makes life on the ARK so much easier, and a group of 3 or more is more dangerous than it seems. And once past its prime, they work really well as guard dogs.

They're good first tames, just Bola and KO. They can gather lots of meat quickly but they can only attack smaller creatures like dodos and lystros so I don't recommend for higher levels

I have like... I think 20 of these dudes and I took down a spino dude with half of my pack left after. Life savers!

Their useful when your under attack just run and let him/her do all the fighting

Yo, tame four high levels, then use a Ptera to put them in the corners of your roof, set them to turret mode. Plant X for beginners. Have fun w your guard dogs, but make sure that they are 2 males 2 fem, so u can breed them if one dies.
