They can be very dangerous however if you take a lot of them then you have a unstoppable army. These are surprising easy to tame however when I first got the game I was scared of them but now I got one and it saved my life 2 times

HOW TO TAME A DILO 1(kill : dodos or paras sadly) 2 (punch in the head so I get spit) 3 (Feed it meat and DONE

This is a must have for the early game, this was the second Dino I tamed right after the dodo, it’ll help with low level predator encounters and if you breed them enough they can take out packs of RAPTORS for you,

They are very easy to tame, you can knock one out with your fists and just put 2-3 pieces of raw meat in their inventory

How2Tame #4: Dilophosaur

Welcome viewers to another episode of How2Tame, where I, Zeta, teach you how to tame creatures. Starring in this episode is the Dilophosaur. I will walk you through it.

1. Execute multiple animals, but not ones that will deal a lot of damage or ones that run away fast, so that leaves Dodos, Pegomastax, and Lystrosaurus. These should be your targets.

2. Do not cook the meat. Instead, spot a Dilophosaurus that you can share this meat with.

3. Please bola the Dilophosaur, so that it cannot scratch you or claw your eyes out. Now strike it with a club repeatedly. Do not, we repeat, do NOT remove this bola!

4. Once it is knocked out, Feed your Dilophosaur meat. If it loses torpor too fast, make sure you have some Narcotic ready because black berries do not work on carnivores.

5. Your Dilophosaur is tamed once the taming bar reaches 100! Name it and remember to feed it daily.

Don't scare gust go for fight and feed meat in inventory and your dilo is tamed

Pachys and dilly's are the same size you can ride pachys and Not dilly's (I'm calling them dilly's because it switches it to fill)

I have a dilophosaur named dilila and is awesome she has saved from 2 carbonemys’s already pls tame btw level their health a lot

Really ez tame just make sure you have a space to run away if its in a pack or spits at you other than that just use a club and 2 dead dodo worth of meat

These fellow are awesome to hunt with I kill triceratops with these distracting it with poison

Stay directly in front of it to avoid being poisoned then strike repeatedly with wooden club or fists and when it tries to escape. Chase after it and keep striking till unconscious then feed 6 raw meat for effective tame

If you're ever looking for one, just open your inventory on the beach. Guarunteed to find at least 4 behind you.

This are really easy to tame you can even just punch. Then tame it with meat and know you have a dinosaur that will protect you.

I had one and it protected me from anything that hurt me including a raptor.

I think that if you had three of them I think they could kill a carno

Find a dilo hit it with slingshot until its unconscious the put some dodo meat in the inventory

They can’t equip saddles, but are awesome predators! My 3 Dilo’s (died after a pack of allosaurus attack) killed a lvl 3 Sarco outside my base without me knowing! And they are good guards :D just get a bunch, put them on aggressive wandering in front of somebodies base in PVP, and enjoy that newbie get wrecked

These things are the best starter pets for someone level 5

To tame: don't miss around with hitting it and backing up,just start with a bola, then punch to your heart's content. Anything lower lvl in the wild doesn't even need narcotics of any kind, including berries!

I've always loved my 10+pack of higher lvl dilos. Dennis was my first. They're surprisingly useful at keeping you alive in sticky situations, have cute chirping sounds, and collect more meat then you could possibly find a use for. Great starter tame, one of my favorites.

How to tame a dilo:

1. Kill a dodo or another animal. And take the meat.

2. Find a alone dilo.

3. Hit him until you see him pass out but be careful! It has venom, lf he hurts you with his venom he will make you blind.

4. Feed him meat.

And boom! You have a dilo! Try it it easy!

Make a club

Bash him until he is ko

Give him meat

Repeat 12 or more times

Tada now you have a dilo army
