1:find a dilo

2:throw bolo

3:hit it with sling shot

4:feed it meat

Easy tame if you can geta pack of 20 they are awesome

If it is a low level, you can probably knock it out with fists or a club and doge it’s poison. If it’s a higher level then you should bola it and hit it with a club. You may need some narcotics.

They're great for acting as bodyguards when you go to possibly dangerous areas, and for hunting since their spit slows animals down. Once I had 2 of mine attack a Carno while I shot at it, both survived and killed the carno.

In early game if you can't get plant X put these on your roof and fill their inventory up with stone so they can't move and you now have short range spit turrets

Great beginning tame, game achievement says get one but if you get three or four of these guys they are a very good protective and hunting force, highly recommend getting four of these early game. Just get them to charge, club em, and then raw meat for 2 minutes. Easy. Get three or four and you have a great battle team.

Find a dodo kill it

Get a club

Hit them until unconscious

Tame with raw meat from dodo

These Dino’s are usually the most easy carnivores to defeat and/or tame due to their size, and health.

All u have to do is just punch it and starve tame it also get about 25 of thim there as good as rapters in a pack

How to tame:

1. Get a Bola

2. Yeet at dilo

3. Bonk with wooden club

4. Put some meat in inventory

5. Enjoy your bff

Dilo,s are great for collecting Meat and leather. And ofcourse they when in pack of 8 or more can join you as securitydetail while harvest wood e.c.t. and in pack of 12 they take down bigger animals as well. Butt dont let them attack a theri than they are dead

If you are new to ARK then you should kill dodos for meat and although it will be hard for new players find some of these guys and knock them out feed them the meat from the dodos then tame them and use them while hunting cause there good for killing smaller creatures.

I love thse little fuzzballs soooooo much! I ahve over 30 of these little guys and they make great guard dogs. Mine are all about level 70 at the moment as i haven't had a chance to level them up but i mostly pump on health, some melee damage as well but I take them out hunting when I'm riding my therzin and they take things out pretty quick. So id reccomed them. Love my little babies <3

When u have a bunch of them, do NOT set them to follow u as closely as possible. May sound fun but when ur crowded u go up on their backs and u lose health. U have been warned

If anyone didn’t know, you can go up to a dilo and punch it right before it sprays you, then it will not spray you. I don’t know if this works with anyone else but it works for me.

Very easy tame. They make really good starter pets

How2Tame #4: Dilophosaur

Welcome viewers to another episode of How2Tame, where I, Zeta, teach you how to tame creatures. Starring in this episode is the Dilophosaur. I will walk you through it.

1. Execute multiple animals, but not ones that will deal a lot of damage or ones that run away fast, so that leaves Dodos, Pegomastax, and Lystrosaurus. These should be your targets.

2. Do not cook the meat. Instead, spot a Dilophosaurus that you can share this meat with.

3. Please bola the Dilophosaur, so that it cannot scratch you or claw your eyes out. Now strike it with a club repeatedly. Do not, we repeat, do NOT remove this bola!

4. Once it is knocked out, Feed your Dilophosaur meat. If it loses torpor too fast, make sure you have some Narcotic ready because black berries do not work on carnivores.

5. Your Dilophosaur is tamed once the taming bar reaches 100! Name it and remember to feed it daily.

They can be very dangerous however if you take a lot of them then you have a unstoppable army. These are surprising easy to tame however when I first got the game I was scared of them but now I got one and it saved my life 2 times
