You don’t even need a weapon, if your really new and can’t craft a weapon just knock them out with your hands. Then feed them meat. I put about 7 meat in Dilos inventory because you never know how much they will eat. They usually eat about 4 or 5 but put 7 or 6 just incase. Then, you got a Dilo, oh and, if they open there mouth while your trying to knock them out, hit them before they spit up poison.

Hit from long rang with a slingshot and if spat at hit with club and jump around so you don’t get hit

Easy to kill. Run in there face and they cant spit you. If they spit you keep fighting dont run.

Ok so I had found a dilo and I was like I want to tame one so, I did. Pretty simple. (I did it with my bare hands) so you find one go in front of it (you need to level up a few times before ya tame one) and start punching it over and over. You need 3 pieces of meat ( easy to just find a dodo and kill it, collect its meat, simple). But if it spits at you it will either run and then turn back and have some no or it will circle around you and attack you from behind, so stay sharp, you see them by beachsides and outside forests. 2.use any hatchet to gather more stone

3.find a dilo

4.shoot dilo with slingshot

5.when it knockout feed him meat

6.enjoy your dilo

I kill them like dodos with poison spit and dodos like dodos but I also sometimes kill sarcos my dilpho tame and parasaur killed it and threw it into the sky

They’re simple to tame. Use a slingshot for maybe two hits until they close the distance. Punch from there on. Once asleep put in 5 meant plus three more for every additional level above 1. Always put more meat then needed. Avoid getting spit on by moving side to side or jumping. Preferably both. Amazing for early game. Tame a horde. Breed them. Conquer the ARK.

If you want to tame one you should make it a killing machine

There spits are strong and damage you ten hp

If I counter dilo and it spits don't in water for it's more dangerous if can't see

When being chased run into water until the dilophosauras is submerged than shoot it with a sling

They rarely are nice walking past one they will try to kill you if you see one ethier walk really far away or kill it

These dudes used to kill me a lot as a beginner.

If you see one, KILL IT! I hate those suckers.

Not hard to dodge the ranged attacked but if you are just walking to backwards and to your side it will predict your path and spit to suit, just walk backwards once it isnt higher than you

This app doesn’t tell you everything. Because I tamed a lvl 79 dilo with 2 raw meat so upgrade your taming on dilos game.
