When you find the one you want kill all other dilo's. One the area is safe bola your dilo. Make sure when you hitting the dilos head to stand to the right or left so it cant bite you or spit at you. Once its asleep just feed it.

8 level 100 dilos can kill alpha rex, Blinds and glitches into hitbox. Do not recomend, but works! (Best of rex is distracted)

A must have for its eggs. I tamed a male a and 5 females because the egg laying rate is too low for the essential Doedicurus and Anklyo tames. A must have for kibble

Easy to kill in groups of 1-3, annoying as hell when they show up while you're fighting larger animals.

What you need to do to tame these non aggressive creatures is to walk over to it take a huge green snot to the face and drink it like a boss then tickle it's under belly 100% taming effectiveness gaurente

Boost Melee damage and get a pack of 4-5 of them and use them as base guards

Be fast and attack as fast as possible and u will win so GON!!!!!!!

Tamed 5 of these low level none were over 25 and a random car I sprang on me and these little bastards ripped it apart. For he ray they are to tame I'd say nab some early on for some defense

The dilo is a great tame that leads to ankleos doedics and much more creatures to build and collect resources

Dilophosaur kibble is extremely helpful as it allows you to tame Doedic, Anklyo, and Pachy.

Very beginner tame, simply run, shoot, run, shoot, taming on raw meat is fine but if you have access to prime it will speed up the process majorly. Can be found all over he map but generally coastlines and in the south

In real life, Dilophosaurus lacked the frill and poisonous saliva, but at least the two head crests are accurate.

So easy to tame. I keep at least ten of these when I explore and don’t usually need to get involved when anything shows up. No good for hauling or harvesting but great for hunting. Killed a Therizin and a Rex with a mob of these and a Raptor. Plus they make adorable sounds😄

If you run into a pack of Dilos just turn around and run/sprint away to your base or weave around trees or boulders.

People say that they’re really dangerous early game especially in a small pack. I disagree. When I was just a beginner at ARK, I saw a pack of them and easily took the out. If you’re confident, you can easily take out a pack of them with a stone hatchet or even your fists. Just don’t get cocky!!! Getting cocky is the death of you in ARK!!! Especially against Dilos(and Raptors!!!). I cannot stress this enough!!!
