There’s a pack of dilos near my base that’s why I have at least 5 dilos and there’s 1 more dilo in the pack but very time I try to kill it or tame it it runs away into the water

When on Hard mode when it’s a level 450 it’s 100% gonna kill you if your a level 1-35 it’s like a mini Raptor...

When you encounter the dilo it will try to start a battle most of the time by following you then spitting at you or

Sometimes it will leave you alone

For the Pursuit where you are to hunt and kill three of these, pay CLOSE ATTENTION to any and all Dinos behind them, my hunt ended HORRIBLY because I shot a level 14 pred and I left the 3 I already tamed back at camp. Always know your target and whatever is behind it

They spit first, so before you attack, get its attention, let it spit, jump or dodge or whatever, then go and attack/tame it. There are usually multiple together as well so be prepared. They are easy to take out as well. A couple stones from a slingshot and you don’t even have to take damage.

Will spit poision at you when it raises it’s thrill. If engaging without a mount dodge spit before you fight, and be ready to dodge again in about 5 seconds

These guys spit at you then attack but watch out for the babies

If you have a spear of any kind you can kill it pretty easily. I killed a level 16 that way.

These Stupid dumb idiotic demons killed my raptor blue on the dilo hunt :(

Early game you’re denis nedry to these suckers what ever you are doing but taming them in over a pack of 4 can be deadly

Most times you can just torch it to kill it

Early guard dogs , 5 dilo vs 1 sarco continues damage plus spit for slow I don't know if they have pack buff but the sarco died

Never think about being or try to be cool by trying to tame a hole pack of dilos it will bite you and kill you in two second and ten if your lucky so don’t do it just do one or two at a time so you don’t risk everything

Run, just run.

Or it will destroy your house. :(

I got close to one. It is my enemy, but it didn’t see me. They are sooooooooo dumb

I have not played for a long time but I can tell ya for sure if you have any pick or something similar,you can just attack it and ignore the poison. Go forward and hit it constantly. It should go down in about 5-6 hits if strong. It has not killed me since I started doing this(Btw fists are good too but need more hits)

I tried killing a theri then A FRICKIN DILO CAME PUT OF NO WHERE AND SPAT AT MY IGUANODON I WAS RIDING AND THE THERI FINISHED HIM OUT
