I have about ten of them. So far i’ve killed 23 triceratops, and none of them died. They are really good for beginners.

I have 5 hunting males and a breeding pare so if one of my hunters dies in a fight, I’ll always have more.

When fighting and it stops move to the side because it’s going to shoot poison at you and when it shot use bat or fist to knock out and feed it raw meat.

How to tame these for the noobs

1. Get meat (20 suggested)

2. Punch it until it gets knocked out

3.put meat in dilo inventory

Only need 2-3 meat, stay close so you don't get sprayed

How to tame a Dilo!

1. Craft a bola, unlocked at level 8.

2. find a dilophosaur, commonly found on beaches.

3. Hit it with a bola, then go behind it so it cant attack you nor spit at you.

4. Knock it out with tranq arrows, or if you dont have that, use your fists. (but dont kill it!)

5. Put about 10-20 pieces of raw or cooked meat in inventory.

6. It wont take long to tame, so there you go!

I very much recommend getting a lot of dilos. I have about 14 dilos, and they had enough melee damage to knock out a carnotaurus. Also the most important thing is leveling up melee damage!

Tame about 4 to 6 and you got a dilo army and a lot of meat

Tip: use bola I used it and it was EASY to get a dilo you should try it even though if you have a pack of them

What is the quickest way to tame your creature

If you want to tame don’t waist a bola just yoes a club xxxxxxxxx❤️

Try to tame a couple of these if you spawn in south zone and max out there melee and take them everywhere at the beginning because having an army is useful for raptors or spinos even if they don't kill them you still have time to get away from danger

If you’re new to the ark think your lucky dilos used to do torpor when spitting and spat lots more but no more so new players are lucky

When you are starting off, there actually pretty easy to kill. If you want to tame one, craft a club and knock it out, and it’s favorite food is meat. Do not get on a raft with any pets! That’s how I lost a bunch of mine. They kind of just... disappear.

Here’s a really good and easy tip for beginners. 1. Craft a bola( lvl9 required) 2. Throw the bola at the dilo and boom it can’t move a muscle for some time 3. Just knock it out with your fist or a bat. 4. Then feed it some meat and nacroberry . 5.dne

How to tame a Dilo :o

Get some meat, You can get meat by killing anything. But considering you are taming an early game dino, just get meat from dilos, Compys, and dodos.

Now you are going to want some clubs, or you can use anything to knock it out like tranqs arrows or clubs. Preferably for when you are just starting you should get some clubs to knock it out. Your also going to need around 3-4 clubs in case they break.

Now you need to find yourself a Dilo. You can find these guys almost anywhere.

Now you have to tame the Dilo. Your going to want to knock it out with your clubs. But be careful because they are an annoying starting enemy to have to deal with. Once you knock it out. Feed it around 20 meat that you gathered from the dinos we talked about at the start.

Congrats! You have yourself a Dilo! You can use Dilos as a dino to protect you. But don’t get too attached. They will die really quickly.
