A trance arrow puts them to sleep.

This is a hateful creature, know why? Because when your first time playing ark survival Evolved you will spawn at a beach with dilos ( not at different worlds)

When you encounter it early game and you have a spear, I do this firstly they knock me back before they spit out the acid always stay the same direction they actually blind you in the same direction there an easy kill

I was somehow able to kill 3 of these plus a raptor with just a spear and since I was just a level 7 I didn’t have much but then I met my fate to 2 raptors when getting back to my camp and so did my dodo :,( RIP Dylan the Dodo (and me)

If you just spawned in you probably see dilophosaur.But they do make great tames for beginners.It was one of my first tames and if you get a good level it will not be a waste of your time.I usually nock them out with my fist just because it’s easy.And the only thing you need is raw meat.

These guys are just mean through the lvls 1-20

How to tame

1: scout around your base to find a dilo.

2: go to your base and get atleast 3 wooden clubs, you will need extra.

3: attack the dilo with the club until it’s unconscious.

4: feed the dilo raw meat, I recommend bring atleast 10 raw meat.

5: once your tame has woken up, name it and enjoy your tame!

MAKE THIS A MONUT it is awesome and it is the same size as a peachy

If you have a dodo, I highly recommend NOT to get these guys as tames. Tame or not they kill ur dodos.

When you on low level..it dangerous to you

But when you on high level *like you can tame t-rex)...it annoying to you.

Hate these guys. Always ruining my tames.

To tame Dilophosaur

1 attack it until it says unconscious put food in inventory to tame

2 put raw meat raw fish meat cooked meat or cooked fish meat in inventory

3 as you put meat in It's inventory wait until the taming bar reaches 100

These guys are great in packs. I took down 3 adult trikes and only lost 3/7 DILOS I had tamed. Definitely worth the pain to get them!

These things are only good in packs of 3-5 if you’re taking them. But normally are in packs of 2-3

Gat a bola it is easy from then on.
