Once you find one, get it trapped where it can't see other dinos. Very aggro to everything else.

Once trapped, put on full ghillie. Put superior kibble (or meat of some kind) in last hotbar slot. Wait for it to bask (mouth wide open, not moving). Then walk up to sides of its mouth and look towards its neck. Feed then back off a bit. It will aggro to you after every feed. Wants feed basically right away when it basks again.

Their stats are actually amazing. Low points in even HP still yield awesome stats. They are definitely boss worthy. Just need to obtain a good saddle BP if your server/cluster has them added to the loot pool. Might seem clumsy on last but they trap and overpower basically any other dino/boss.

The swamp on Rag is crawling with these guys I found eight in one trip just make sure to trap them when your taming so they don’t roam around killing everything they see or get killed

Jellyfish will dismount you. But the deino on neutral will eat them

These spawn all over the swamps, found a 145 right by the redwoods swamp. This creature is crazy good, basically a sarco with slightly slower movement speed in water but way better health and mele. Totally recommend expecially with those damn x fish bastards

You need a ghillie set. And a tame to help you clear hostile dinos. Which will help you farm prime meat. I simply kept feeding it prime meat until it was tamed. Depending how fast the intervals are, you still get 96%-98% taming efficiency

They will aggro onto everything so do your best to keep the area clear.

These are similar to recession but with a powerful charge attack and bleed , which makes it good for boss fights

If you are trying to tame one on the center if it is near the snow area I suggest bringing it towards the lower part because there are little dinos near it and the deinosuchus should be able to kill anything that might mess with you. Once you do this bring it towards rocks and it should get stuck and should be very easy to tame as long as you have kibble.

Absolut unit of a creature, great bite force and its mega bite is super powerful, it can easly chew through bosses even alpha when properly leveled, i dare say even Dragon as it can go under its belly and can't be hit by the fire breath, though i'd suggest using Tickle Chickens still.

As for utility ? Its not that slow on land (around Rex speed) can turn on itself, and bite behind it, take this into account plus its sheer power and you got one of the strongest tame. Underwater ? Really fast and still within the strongest, can easly kill the strongest creatures and farm underwater caves. Finally you can shoot from its back, making taming easier.

When you go up to feed it just look at its body or neck and spam the feed button

This is a super strong dino, Much like a Rex in terms of stats and stat increase per level. Giga bite on official with 660melee does over 1800 damage. I have used one of these to kill mosa, plesi swarms, tuso and alpha tuso.

It has excellent utility as you can use weapons when riding this dino, Both on land and underwater, it is much slower on land but about on par with the Rex walk speed when sprinting, perhaps a little faster.

They also have pretty good weight too making it ideal companion game when farming with an angler ect.

This beast can also turn on a dime with a speed that puts most reining horses to shame, The tail gives a decent amount of knock back too.

Using a breeding pair of these (mutton tamed) with 70 arm saddles levelled to almost 700md with 15.3k hp to get to wave 5 on an alpha element node on extinction, if you bring a daedon you’ll be laughing 🫡 Fox

They spawn everywhere that sarcos spawn, this includes some of the caves on the Island!

You can use metal billboards to trap this creature. Then leave to de aggro this beast and return with your best taming food on the taming hotbar.

They're extremely useful for taming, because they're roughly as tough as a rex yet you can actually shoot while riding them.

Only problem is they're not very fast on land, so if something runs you're not keeping up.

Is anyone gonna talk about how if you have them imprinted with saddles the boss fight on the center only takes about a minute?

If the tail glitches underground walk down the tail and you will go under the map

Use ghillie armor, superior kibble or better. Put kibble on last slot. Clear area of other creatures so it won’t disturb your taming or lure it someplace else for taming.

1. Wait for it to bask, takes like around 10 seconds or more to open its jaws.

2. When basking walk up to its mouth and feed it the kibble

3. Ghillie will keep you hidden when you feed deino so it won’t chase you.

4. Rinse and repeat till tame
