when i tamed one of these, i noticed something. some of the times it opened its mouth, its jaws were still. other times it had, they were shaking. when its jaws shook, I couldn't feed it.

You can use weapons while riding a deinosuchus. It just doesn’t show up on dododex.

There aren’t Kapros. These are Sarcos On Steroids. They have a Bite force of a Giga.

Had a strong melee and tail whip. Has a super strong charge attack that des great damage. Stats scale well too!

This mount provides you with oxygen like the Diplocaulus. If you dismount this Dino in the water, it’s highly suggested to have it in follow or it will resurface.

It’s a passive kibble tame (superior). While on land, wait for it to lay and open its mouth (basking) sneak up and feed. Then run away as it will aggro. Let

Don’t let it give you a love nibble

Wait for it to lay down and open its mouth. Walk up to its mouth and feed it with meat. (I haven’t tested the kibble it likes yet but I assume it’s extraordinary) when you feed it, it will snap its jaws shut before getting back up, giving you a few seconds to back away.

I recommend bringing a ghillie suit and cactus broth if you can.

DO NOT USE COOKED LAMB CHOPS, it says it's better, and takes less, but that is a lie, I tried and it gave it like 0.7 taming per bite.

I used to be afraid of the ocean biome in this game. But after getting this bad boy??? NOT ANYMORE.

Say hello to your brand spanking new and indispensable sea mount! This creature is no joke at all. That giga bite is also not to be trifled with and can be used to DEVASTATING effect. I have been caught in the middle of swarms of Megalodon and Plesiosaurs multiple times and this animal hung in there and took care of them pretty dang well. Deinosuchus can and will kill Mosaurus as well but watch out for those high level ones of course! This mega gator also dispatches alphas pretty easily (Alpha Raptors are a nonissue but it takes way more effort to kill a high level Alpha Meg though. Proceed with caution!).

I recommend pumping up health and melee and maybe some weight especially if you’re doing any expeditions and away from your base for a bit. The higher the level you can find, the better! My strongest one has around 70k+ health and around 600 melee and he is the goat.

Tldr; Wildcard, please NEVER nerf this thing.

If your not looking to make a trap for this beast,the best thing to do is get your argy and land near as its mouth is opened(NOT WHEN IT IS CHARGING A GIGA BITE).I recommend full ghillie and have superior or better kibble.Crouch towards it and feed it near the mouth.If it doesn’t instantly tame run back to your argy and repeat.Hopes this helps!

It got nerfed , the giga bite used to give an effect for about like 10 seconds that takes a percentage of your health whenever you move , that's why it could easily solo the alpha manticore, nunatak and the dragon because they move a lot but it doesn't work for bosses anymore they're still really strong would rather take them over rexes

Figured out how to get out, you dismount cric if it gets stuck in island Devourer cave then it move it some so it gets out of the air (my Dino’s float sometimes so I can’t move them) then you can get out

guys be very careful when leaving or your deino will get stuck in the cave stay off the walls I’m stuck

Bring foundations if you use this guy for Devourer artifact cave, bigsy fell and took around 9000 damage out of 14,000 hp, use foundations to close or weaken the gaps between rocks so you and your deino can safely cross, then maneuver through the water and come out and exit

You can fit these into the artifact of the Devourer cave, then you can eat the whole cave, hard to get out so you can bring a foundation to use on gaps and stuff, was trying to get my stuff so I made a parachute then wondered if I could fit Bigsy then he fit so that’s nice I guess

They were recently nerfed so their damage over time effect no longer works on bosses

Best spot I could find them in on the island is the western region of the swamp where there’s less trees and more water. Cords (69, 23)
