U need about 13 standing torches to hatch on fordjor from my experience (I just spammed until it worked)

Get a flyer, agro the parents on the nest, lead them away, get out of their aggro range, fly to the nest, land, grab the egg, fly away.

Use dodos to distract them steal egg and run away I recommend 20-30 dodos

Take something that does damage, kill Deinonychus, dismount your beast and grab eggs

Good early game dino, it’s easy to get eggs for them

Got an egg w and argie and didn’t even get attacked. This is how

1: find a safe spot and scout for nests

2: once you have found your desired nest, wait at it, high enought so they don Agro.

3: one è the coast is clear, park ur argie at the nest

4: take the egg and get on ur argie(or other flier) AND FLY LIKE YOU HAVE NEVER FLEW BEFORE

5: get a few standing torches n stuff. The temp they need to hatch is the same as a wyvern!!!!!! (85-84)

6:feed it n imprint I as much as u can

7:lv it up when grown

Best strategy for any map is fly over and jump off your flyer then grapple hook to a tree and net gun them, it takes some practice but got 4 eggs in about 5 minutes with this, spread the good word

Came across a nest while exploring Valguero with my wyvern. Stayed on my mount and watched the adults for a few minutes -- they didn't even notice us. Hopped off, snagged the egg, and now I'm raising a lil red beauty.

Does anyone know if nests are spawning on console? Looked for about thirty minutes and couldn’t find one.

Deinon’s are fast, early game I usually get deinon’s first since they are an awesome first tame. They eggs are difficult to get when new, like me so I set a bed down close to a nest but not too close then i lead them as far away as possible before they kill me, respawn at the bed and then go get the egg. You will need a bit of movement speed as they are so fast but its as simple as that! Thanks !

Not fun to encounter. They live in packs and give a bleed effect, so they are pretty strong. They are not a knock out tame so don’t waste tranq arrows/darts on them! You have to steal eggs found in their nests. They spawn in the white cliffs & i have encountered them in the forest aswell so be carefull! What i usually do is get on an argentavis and take a parasaur with me. I use the parasaurs roar to scare the deinonychus away, then i take the egg. When hatched you got yourself a new tame. They are fun to play around with. They are quick & can climb on walls. If you have a pack they can shred through dinos. Not to mention how cute they actually are, especially the baby’s. Team tactic my crew used was to hang one person off a flier with a grabbing hook and playing it like a crane game.

Be sneaky and quiet slow and steady

There are 2 steps to this

Step 1:use a usless animal as bait to anger it.

Step 2:go in gille suit and grab the egg

Step 1:log onto your ps4

Step 2:play single player in ark .

Step 3:bribe your freind to come to your house

Step 4:split screen wit him/her

Step 5:go to chalk hills 1 and find a crevice

Step 6:let them knock you out and let them toss you off so you take no damage

Step 7:let them die and they should respawn right there next to you

Step 8: find a nest and bola your freind and lead the furry chickens to them

Step 9:grab the egg and RUUUUUN

Lure them away from their nest (I recommend using an argy and picking up another survivor, it keeps them interested longer). Grab the egg/eggs and head home. You will need 16-20 campfires to hatch them and be indoors (you will need 20 if you want to hatch them through the night). Once they mature, which isn't too hard if you have plenty of meat and time, they are great tames being they are powerful and have amazing abilities. Up if this is helpful.

I used 2 otters to hatch 2 lv83 eggs

To get one you find there eggs In the chalk cliffs of valguaro and raise one up from a baby like drakes or wyverns

Get an oviraptor to pick up the eggs and grab it with a pter or an argent but argent is better if you want more eggs.

Here’s how I get one I lure something that they Agro like couple parasaurs with rare flowers to lure them away and then steal the eggs when there distracted and run
