Don't bother knocking out wild, they cannot be tamed in this method. Instead, steal the eggs from their nests. There are many methods for this, but the simplest is to lead the pack away with a swift mount, or simply wait until the pack has moved away from the nest. Be quick, as picking up an egg will draw aggro, the same as when picking up any wild spawned egg.

These nasty little beasts are absolute monsters in a pack, and can make quick work of any dino, so long as they can survive long enough to finish the job. They are excellent for land mobility as well, being extremely fast and having the ability to latch to vertical surfaces and jump up them for a rapid climb. They also have the only bleed effect in the game that stacks with itself and works on all creatures, including bosses. This makes them ideal for taking out the various arena bosses, such as the Dragon, Broodmother, and Mantacore, as well as seasonal raid bosses, such as the Dodorex and Dodowyvern. To cap these creatures off, they have a pounce ability that let's them latch on to larger dinos, making then hard to hit and impossible to escape from on large dinos.

Be cautious when dealing with these raptor-like creatures, because anything less than pinpoint precision can and will lead to a swift and painful death.

On Fjordur you can find nests in the flat grassland area that is above and behind the portal room

If you have a decent level argy collecting eggs is a breeze.

Just pick up wild ones in the area. Kill. If they latch on you can still attack and kill them. And then just clean house. Easy tame, easy kibble

I JUST STOLE THREE EGGS WITH NOTHING BUT A PTERANODON AND PATIENCE

Get a Pteranodon with a good amount of stamina, swoop down and lead all the parents/ adult Deinys off cliffs and ledges nearby ubtil you can safely jump off and graab the eggs.

Only obtained by searching for eggs, just like wyverns and drakes. Watch out for the pack though. They protect the nest and with their latching and bleeding abilities, they can be quite formidable. Either be quick about sneaking in and grabbing eggs, or kill them all. There is no in between...

Needs about 20 standing torches on Fjordur to incubate

You don’t even have to use a flyer, just run in with a raptor or something while they’re away from the nest of distracted. Worked for me.

Get a flyer and stay off the ground and look for a nest and make Sure there are none in the area and go to the nest get it and go straight up to got out of the jump attack

It takes about 14 torches in order to hatch a deinon egg.

I tamed (hatched) this thing at lvl 13, all I did was go to chalk hills 2, i empty out all my resources just in case I die and wait until the egg is fully unsupervised and boom, stolen eggo

mine was named Cliffwalker, but like all good things come to an end it died of a lvl 14.

It’s pretty easy to tame these things you could use a flyer to bait the deinonychus away from the nests, but what I did was used an obelisk to bring a crystal wyvern to Valgero than I found a nest with only a couple of deinonychus killed them grabbed the egg and incubated it with like 15 to 20 torches. If you want to quickly get one I definitely recommend this only took me about a half hour to get one

grab a pt. snatch a high level egg. use a lot of torches and campfires. you got one of the best dinos in ark

If your lucky enough to steal an egg all you need is I believe 11 torches

And if you got the saddle I’d say you are off with a good start

These tips are so difficult I got a 145 egg and a whole pack max levels by just having a pt going down in the canyons that have a bunch of eggs in there grabbing some and then leaving it took me 20 minutes max :) up if this helped

I don’t have any flyers but there’s a deinon nest on the the other side I think I’m going to put a bunch of spikes on the entrance build on the gap in the canyon lead them off the cliff and steal there egg also I’m not gonna bring any of my stuff just in case I die. Why I’m putting spikes it’s if there smart and go around it.

1: Tame a Giant moth (forgot what they are called)

2: Upgrade stamina and weight (500+ health should be good)

3: whenever they come close drop a moth poison and fly away, hopefully with an egg, i got 4 in 3 minutes.

All you gotta do is take a flying creature and bait them off the cliff, after that, land then take the eggs, and enjoy a nice tasty delicious omlet

There is a ton of ways to get one of these good balls on fjordur for example

1: get any flyer locate a nest lead them away go bag and take the egg

2: lead something really strong to them and let it kill them and then just take the egg while they are fighting

3: get a fjordhawk run into a nest pick up the egg die and when you respawn the fjordhawk brings your items back including the egg

4: run up to the nest while having nothing pick up the egg jump off a cliff respawn and go get the egg from your body make sure you die when you fall

5: find a nest lead the adults away from the nest bola them and go get the egg
