The Tribe of Shadows
Ch 9: Betrayal
As I turned, I saw someone almost 200 feet behind me, in camouflage, lying in sniper position with a rifle aiming right at my skull. Whoever it was saw me turn and dashed away. I ran toward where they had been, looking for some sort of clue. All I found was a note, saying
Find my apprentice. Kill him, and report back to me at Fort Deepwood. If you are seen, tell me immediately. Keep a walkie on hand. If Dilath sees this note, all is lost.
-Blackmoon
I snarled, my eyes flashing to glowing green with slitted pupils. “You will pay for this treachery, Blackmoon. I will find you, and SKIN YOU ALIVE!” I screamed, my voice echoing across the valley. I stood up, my black TEK armor, which I now used when attacking hostile forts, flaring with energy. I launched myself into the air as I let out a piercing whistle. I landed perfectly on the saddle of my Argentavis, Cloud, and flew off towards the Redwoods, where Fort Deepwood was located.
After close to two hours, I reached the fort. Dropping down silently, I drew the dagger Blackmoon gave me. He would be slain by his own gift. Now inside the walls, scanned the area for enemies. Seeing none, I creeped towards what looked like the keep. Suddenly. Blackmoon’s voice boomed across the courtyard. “Ah, Dilath. You REALLY thought you could attack my fort alone? I would never have expected such… Idiocy from my own apprentice. Now drop the knife, and let us talk. Unless you want a bullet through the skull. Stand up, boys.” Immediately, almost fifty men, each with TEK rifles, stood up from the bushes. By the Overseer! How did I miss them? But as I thought this, I felt a tearing pain across my body, like a sword was slashing it. I felt my vertebrae grow out into spines on my back. My head lengthened, becoming raptor like. Dark gray scales grew over my skin. My eyes glowed green, slitted pupils staring daggers at Blackmoon. A long whiplike tail grew from my back, my teeth lengthened, and my fingers grew claws. I was no longer human. I was like Aemosa. Like my father. This was, IS my birthright. I let out a roar, summoning a hundred or more Deinonychus. “You will pay, Blackmoon. Destroy them, my legion,” I said, my voice like thunder. Immediately, all hell broke loose. I sprinted towards Blackmoon, who was trying to mount an Argentavis, warped to human form and leaped onto his back, my dagger slashing through his TEK armor. “Die,” I whispered. The blade plunged through his spine. I jumped off, allowing the Argentavis to fly off, his slowly dying body still on it’s saddle. General Aemosa stepped out from the shadows. “Well done, brother! You won against an enemy much more powerful than yourself, slaying your own former master with his own gift to you. Poetic, really,” he said. “But now brother, you must recruit people into your Tribe of Shadows. You will take over Pyrrhia. And then, you shall slay the Overseer,” he continued. I nodded, pulling out my map. “Can you mark any nearby settlements?” I asked. He did so. There was a village very close nearby. And apparently, my old township was being rebuilt. One day, I shall return there.

I’ve decided to change the name of the desert raptor thingy. It is now named Dustdevil.
Tale of Claws & Sand
Prequel
A raptor dashed across the dunes, and behind it, a massive sandstorm was gathering. The creature was almost able to escape, yet it was too late. The raptor was buried neath thousands of pounds of sand.
The creature awoke. After what felt like an eternity, the raptor could hear a strange voice, that said: “Serve me, in death, and I shall grant you life.” The dromeosaur, having no real option, accepted. At once it began to climb out from the sand, not entirely in control of itself. It surfaced almost twenty minutes later. As it walked towards a nearby river, it could see strange formations that had not been there before. What the creature could once only comprehend as mountains were gigantic obelisks, glowing red, green, and blue. Finally reaching the river, it looked itself in the waters. It looked skeletal, yet running through it was strange smoke that seemed to hold it together. Its eyes were glowing purple, like the sky after the sunset. Like night.

Sup Ranger, lol I also need coffee rn. Advice for a writer? Well, honestly you are already great. But if yur planning on making another story? Take a lot of time to think about it. That’s my best advice. The Obelisk was not something I thought enough about, so now I’m kind of stuck with a story that’s first half is pretty cringe and resulted in a few plot holes. My future stories, however, (Can’t wait to write Pandora, Clans and See rahh) I had time to think about.
Listen to music, take inspiration from other books and movies, and add some creativity. Once yur imagining scenes in yur head, grab some character personality ideas and fill in the gaps! If it fella empty, add things. If it feels too full, slow down a bit of the plot and remove some unneeded things.
Romance, death, twists and turns are great to keep readers in! Hope this helps at all lmao, just some of the firsthand bits my teenage self uses. Bye!

Once open a time…ah forget it.
So I had a bunch of deinonychus eggs (like 9) I got them all from using a bait technique so I hatched them all
Turns out I suck at being a parent because only 1 survived *-*
I named it snowy and it died to a raptor the next day.
I just got 3 new eggs and I named the babies Denise Deborah And Destiny. They died to a raptor as well. I just got 2 eggs and one had triplets. I lost them all today. I still have 1 egg to hatch.
God I suck at being a parent.
1 up = 1 R.I.P to those who have not made it past childhood T-T
The tale of the shadow phoenixes
Chapter three.
They went a little bit into the forest to play hide and seek. Leah volunteered to count. She covered her eyes and began to count to one hundred. “One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven, twelve….” Leah counted on while the others hid. Arianna hid in a bush, Cole hid behind a large tree, Tom hid behind a bush, and James….climbed into a tree and hid up there. “….ninety seven, ninety eight, ninety nine, and one hundred! Ready or not here I come!” Leah yelled. She began looking around till she came to the bush Tom was hiding behind. “Hmm…who could this be?” She said slyly. “Tom! You can come out! I see you!” Leah said. Tom came out. He turned very red. “Was i the first one found?” Tom asked. Leah nodded. Tom sighed. “Don’t worry, you can help me find everyone else.” Tom’s face brightened. They began searching again and in a few minutes they found Arianna then Cole. “Now there is only James left.” Leah said. “Ok guys let’s spread out!” Cole said. They all went in different directions and began searching for James. Eventually they all gathered together underneath a tall oak tree. “I can’t find him.” Tom said. “Me either.” Cole said. Everyone nodded their agreement. “Then there’s only one thing to do.” Leah said. “James you won! Everyone has been found and we can’t find you!” Leah yelled, her voice echoing through the forest. No answer came back. “Why isn’t he answering?” Arianna asked. Suddenly a pine cone “fell” and bonked Arianna on the head. “Ow!” She cried out. Arianna rubbed her head. “Ugh a pine cone.” Another hit her on the head again. Then another hit Cole. Another hit Leah, then Tom. “There’s no way those pine cones are hitting our heads without missing.” Tom said. They all looked up to see James perched in the top of the oak tree, grinning. “Come down!” Leah called up to him. James carefully slid down the tree. “You could have been hurt!” Arianna exclaimed. James scoffed. “Yeah right, stop acting like my mother.” James said. Arianna huffed. “I think we should probably head home now.” Tom said. And so they went home, agreeing to meet again the next day.

A lonely rock drake walked into The crowd moving to the Abberation Trench on Valgrueo. They arent allowed to come, so he snuck in. The crowd walked and finally came to there. They moved in just as a baby raptor was born. Said raptor loved to adventure, so the little raptor and his siblings from across the map walked to the trench. The other two died fighting a giga (they grew up along the journey) but the little clever female escaped. She walked and saw the trench, and went in. As she was clever, she escape bigger predators. She walked into the mushroom forest and saw a rock drake, a male who looked sad. They talked and apparently the rock drake, named Zoomer, had lost his family before hatching. The humand took him but dropped him whilr they were fighting something. The raptor, named Cinder, told him about how she and her sibs were adventurers, but they died coming here. They became friends, and then mates. Zoomer died fighting off a bunch of karkinos and defending the nest. Cinder escaped with the eggs and made it to the White Cliffs, settling in and hatching the eggs. They turned into deinonychus and lived across the map. The spirits of them lived on and watched as their descendants killed every last survivor venturing in their territory.

I had managed to snatch an egg that had level 140 parents had was excited to hatch my first Deinonychus and took it back to my house and then put down a bunch of standing torches to warm the egg. I went to drop the egg in the middle of the torches and looked and saw the egg had not been dropped. Then I heard a heart dropping munching sound and realized that I had eaten the egg! Moral of the story: make sure you press Left trigger and not Right trigger on console when dropping eggs you plan to hatch!
