What are some stories about the deinonychus? Memorable deinonychus stories, wild encounters, and fan fiction.
I was like level 16 and I went looking for eggs on my raptor Blaze a cool completely red male and I stumbled across a nest close to a cliff under a tree 🌳 I'm a very anxious person so even tho the egg I found was only 16 I was to anxious so I snatched it and peged it away even tho the Large pack of the floofy guys was of hunting so I made tons of standing torches and hatched it it had lots of blues and greys and blacks similar to another deinonychus I spotted while looking for eggs and then I called it sapphire due to its blue colours but I wasn't able to get it to the adult phase because of MY MOTHER anyways I hope to do so soon :-)
Dark Fate
Chapter 7
Darkwater hurriedly tried to climb up the rocks while flapping his wings.
"MOTHER! FATHER! IT'S THE CRYSTAL QUEEN!"
A shocked jolt hung in the air, and they ran outside, along with Flame, Quinter, and Blicket.
"Look!" He flicked his tail to the giant army marching across the horizon.
"Where's the three?" Vein asked.
"Here!" The exhausted voice of Chroneo came.
Hurricane stumbled. He hasn't recovered from the incident, yet. He coughed.
"We'll stay here and gather supplies," Chroneo suggested, glancing at Flame and Vein.
"You go."
"Alright," Hurricane wheezed, grabbing Darkwater in his back talons.
Deuvo picked up Quinter and Unnigh struggled to pick up Blicket, but she was the strongest besides Hurricane and Chroneo out of the flyers.
They flew directly to the mountains, staying low to the ground so the army didn't see them. They were really far away, but they travel fast.
They flew into a cave, but the others couldn't fit in. Only Hurricane and Darkwater.
"We'll find another cave," Deuvo flew away.
Hurricane pushed a huge boulder at the entrance to the cave.
"Father?" Darkwater asked as Hurricane collapsed. "Can I help you?"
"Fiiiinnnne.." He groaned with pain.
Darkwater pushed energy into his wings, and a emerald glow shone. He rubbed it on his lungs and broken ribs.
"Thanks," he coughed.

(A few months earlier)
Fear. Fear was the one thing he felt. His dark blue scales grew pale as she grew closer. That stinger, oh that mind-controlling heir-inating stinger. It was pulsating, and Storm panicked.
"MPHM!" He screamed.
"Don't worry," the queen said, "You'll be mine in a second."
The stinger shot forward, stabbing Storm directly in the heart.
His life dwindled as a new one arose..
"I am loyal to The Crystal Queen."
(A few months later)
Storm could scent his brother.. And his son. Ooh, it would be so much fun to kill his son, right infront of Hurricane.
He neared the boulder alone, and cracked it open.
"Hello, Hurricane."
Dark Fate
Chapter 6
They headed towards home. It was a quiet ride, so Darkwater could catch sleep. Chroneo and Deuvo helped carry father.
Awaking again in the void, he saw Blood there.
"You've found your first power," she said.
"Wait, FIRST power?"
"Yes. Hybrids have three distinct powers. Two of them have to do with the to types of wyverns, and the other has to do with the deepest desire. And yours is to help take down the Crystal Queen."
"Oh, okay..? And does father know about it?"
"Yes. That is why he was not as suprised. And you have found the blood wyvern power. You now need to find the tropical power."
"Okay."
"So I'm here to train you to get that power."
"But you are a blood wyvern?"
"Still works."
Blood walked over towards him. "Follow what I do," she instructed.
As Darkwater nodded, he saw Blood walk over to a pool of water that appeared there, suddenly. Another one poofed infront of him, making him jump.
She carefully placed her tail in, picked it out, and swiped it on the ground.
"Now you try."
Darkwater dipped his tail in, just the tip, and felt freezing cold water. Taking it out immediatly, he swiped it on the ground. A blueish green glow illuminated the area.
"Woah!" He yelped.
"Yes, your power will be.." Inspecting carefully, Blood saw something Darkwater didn't. "You have the power to turn water to ice with your tail."
"Really? Wow! Can I now?" He questioned.
"No, Darkwater, practice more with me."
Blood and Darkwater worked on his skills, doing water tricks, until a loud thump woke him up.
Blinking at the light, Darkwater saw his parents and the dawn sky.
"Father?" He asked.
"Ye-" Hurricane coughed, "yes?"
"Are you alright?"
"I'm fi-fine," stumbling into the tree-dome, Hurricane wheezed.
"Mom, is he alright?"
"He'll be fine. Go to your nest," Vein answered.
As Darkwater slept, he heard flapping outside.
"Let's go for a fly," Chroneo suggested.
"Alright," Deuvo agreed.
Unnigh probably nodded, or something, because they all lifted off.
Darkwater felt a stab of jealousy. He wanted to fly, too.
Crawling silently along the floor as the others treated Hurricane, Darkwater walked outside.
'Hmm. What would be a good boulder to jump on?' He thought. Seeing a big boulder, Darkwater climbed it.
'Now I just.. Flap my wings?'
Flap. Flap. Falp. He jumped off and glided around, but then as he did, they gave away and he crashed down.
"Oof!" He huffed.
Trying again and again, he thought he got it.
'I'm flying!' Darkwater thought with glee.
He glided across the valley, but then he saw something on the horizon.
It was a huge line.. It was made up of many things.
It had a giant wyvern flying overhead.
It was the heir army and the Crystal Queen, coming from the mountains. Panicked, Darkwater tried to fly back, but his wings gave away into the valley.
Just kidding. I know that was bad… but, the second part? Saying that Aston and Moon are great people? That wasn’t a joke…
AT ALL! You guys are amazing! Authors, such as DTG, Nightfall, Swamp, and of course Moon and Aston (Sorry if I didn’t mention anyone) really help. A LOT, with inspiration. I’m a member of the Ranger Corps of Araluen, do you expect me to give up? I certainly won’t!
-Ranger 50, out. And may your tames be strong.
Ps: Sorry for the ‘I’m leaving’, thing. It was a really bad thing to do, but I was really down yesterday.
I used to have a squad of around 10 deinonichus, they were all fully health and melee mutated they were also very beautifull one was green black and white one was purple yellow and black one was blue and red, they were my favorite creatures in the game, i ended up losing them all exept one to a 174 giga however i still dont know where the one that survived went
I tame a deinonychus. I named her shade. We did everything together. Hunted… Explored… One day I decided to go scout the edge of the ravine on the north of the valguero map. We got there, but as we explored, a trio of wolves attacked. I was knocked off of shade, so i got out my pike and started fighting. After we killed the wolves, I didn’t even have enough time to remount before a wyvern shot out of the ravine. It killed me instantly. As soon as I respawned, i had a panic attack because I was on the opposite side of the map from shade, and i new that she couldnt fight the wyvern alone. I hoped on tango (my tape) and prepped to fly over there. I was about 1/3 of the way there when I got the notification saying she had been killed. This was the most depressing news I had ever received in my entire ARK experience. I returned to base and made a grave for her by the river.

Chapter 17
There was a roar from inside the nest, and the wyvern guards standing outside rushed in. Goon followed from a distance, stopping at the entrance. He could see Alisa and another deino in the center of the nest. Surrounding them were shadow wyverns, and towering over them all was an enourmous shadow wyvern. Alisa had told Goon the wyverns had a queen, this must be it. "Sneaking into my nest," hissed the queen. "How foolish can you be." She leered over the deinos with bared teeth.
Without warning, one of the shadow wyverns cried out. It's body convulsed for a moment, and then it turned on its queen, leaping onto her back and biting into her neck. The rest of the shadow wyverns watched in shock as the queen furiously ripped the slave from her neck, threw it to the ground and crushed its head with her foot. Something jumped out of the wyverns body and slithered into the shadows before reappearing and jumping into another wyvern. That wyvern turned on the queen too, and was met with the same deadly response. This time, Goon caught sight of the thing jumping between the wyverns. It was his shadow, controlling them somehow. The shadow slaves ran to help their queen, tearing the traitor apart until another appeared.
The shadow wasn't doing much damage to the queen, but it was drastically decreasing the slaves numbers. Seeing an opening, Goon rushed into the nest and attempted to bite into the shadow queen's neck. She saw it coming instantly and swiped her tail, throwing Goon to the ground. She loomed over him. "Well, that was stupid," she hissed. She opened her mouth and a green substance oozed from her jaws. Goon looked across the nest to Alisa.
"If we survive this," he shouted, "I'm gonna kill you."

Chapter 9
Goon halted as the bright white snow cut suddenly into burning golden sand. It amazed him how it could go from freezing cold to sweltering heat here so easily, but then, nothing really made sense here, did it? His shadow went on, changing shape from a yutyrannus to a large, snake-like creature with horns as it hit the sand.
The shadow snake slithered across the dunes towards the cactus tree in the distance. It stopped and turned, beckoning with its tail for Goon to follow. He hesitated, already beginning to sweat. What was he supposed to do? Run blindly into the scorching sun with pounds of thick feathers on his back? He sighed. Alisa had hunted for him; she'd kept him alive. The least he could do was repay the favor.
He took one last deep breath of the frosty air and charged into the desert, making a beeline for the cactus tree. The bird had flown off, but as he drew closer, Goon could see a nest on top of the cactus. The shadow snake slithered up the tree and into the nest. A second later, Alisa's head poked over the nest. "Goon! Up here!" she called down.
"Can't you glide down from there?" He shouted up.
No sooner had he spoken, than the two featherless heads of baby birds pulled her back into the nest, out of Goon's view. Even just hatchlings, they were large enough to be dangerous perit could be dangerous. He could hear screeching and roaring, and the nest rattled as Alisa fought with the hatchlings. Goon looked around for something he could use, but there was nothing but sand around him. He was drenched, and the heat had begun to haze his vision.
His shadow slid down from the cactus and curled up on the sand perion the sand. Goon looked down, watching carefully. The shadow was making a striking motion towards the cactus tree. It took a few moments before it clicked with Goon.
He backed away from the tree, took a deep breath, and rammed the cactus tree. The nest shook above, tilting a slight bit. Goon staggered back and winced as needles stabbed into skin, but he ignored them and rammed the tree again, and again, moving the nest a little more each time.

Chapter 2
Cost was clear. Alisa darted out of her cave and leapted into a glide. She scanned the white landscape, still searching for her sister. She had no intent of finding her parents after they abandoned her, but she had a close bond with her sister. Alisa spotted a huge basilisk, a gigantiaío fídi. Alisa was shock at how close it was to her cave, how had she not heard it? She had to kill it, or lead it away, before it got any closer. Alisa dove down and slammed into the snake. The basilisk quickly realized what happened and tried to bite her, but she quickly dodged. She ran behind it and slashed the tail, but the snake slammed Alisa with its giant tail, knocking her into a snow mound. The basilisk was about to finish her off when mutated dimorphadons started slashing and biting at it. Alisa took this chance and ran to her cave before the dimorphadons saw her. She didnt want to be the dimorphandons next meal. Alisa curled up around a stalagmite and drifted off to sleep, hoping she was safe.
