Stories Tips

What are some stories about the deinonychus? Memorable deinonychus stories, wild encounters, and fan fiction.
It is I Fatooie! Some may know me as a prophet, To others a smuggler.
But there is one thing I have to tell you, Ranger.
Prophecies should be cryptic and no one can understand them. They have to rhyme like this:
Day Of Death
When all of our saddles have Dyes
The hero shall rise
When someone took all of my Pies
The hero shall rise.
That is the beginning to the hero’s conquest. Found in deinonychus soon!
Aberrant deinonychus
Chapter ten
I shot up an the shrill sound. So did everyone else. I was the first one to move, slowly creeping towards the den entrance. I poked my head outside to look for the source of the sound. And then I saw it. It was a large, bipedal creature, with a strange looking fin on its head. It’s look was overall bizarre and hard to describe. Leo walked up next to me, and I could practically hear his heart sink as he said “Oh no.”
“What’s wrong. What is that?” I said.
“It’s called….” He paused before saying
“A Reaper Queen.”
I open my mouth to say something, but before I could, it’s head snapped toward us. It let out a shrill shriek, and about four hairless humanoid things rose from the ground.
“What in the name of the Overseer are those!” Carter yelled from inside the den.
“Well, they kind of don’t have a name. Dinos in Aberration call them…nameless.” Leo said. Before another word was spoken, the group of now around fifteen Nameless charged at us.
“Ripper you and me are gonna go slow them down! Carter, you pick ‘em off with your rifle! Berry, use your light to protect him from the Nameless!” Leo commanded. We all nodded unanimously. I ran down the slope to the charging name Nameless. I leapt onto one, slashing its throat with my sickle claw. I saw Leo headbut one onto the spike walls. A shot from Carter’s rifle went right through the head of one Nameless and into the chest of another. But no matter how many we killed, The Reaper Queen would just summon more. And than, I heard one of the worst things I probably could have heard.
“I’m out,” Carter yelled.
My heart sunk. Without another word, I ran back and stood in front of Berry and Carter.
“GET ON” I yelled at them.
With saying anything, Carter picked up Berry and hopped on. I ran at the spike wall, placing my foot on the support beam in-between the spikes. I propelled myself forward on the head of a Nameless, forcing its head into one of the spikes. I landed behind the small army of Nameless and called out Leo’s name. He nodded, jumped into the air and glided down next to us. And than, we ran.

Chapter seven
“You’re alive!” Leo exclaimed, picking Berry up and squeezing her so hard it looked like her eyes would pop out of her head any moment.
“Of course I am,” she managed to wheeze.
“I’m *WHEEZE* having a little trouble breathing,” she said.
“Sorry,” Leo said, putting her down.
“Who’s that,” she said, looking at Carter.
“Carter,” he said before Leo could.
“So, what exactly happened,” I said, gesturing my claws and tail out in every direction.
“Oh, right,” she said.
“Well, first, I woke up because I heard some barking from outside the den, and when I got up to change it out, I saw four Ravagers running after two Bulbdogs.” “Wait, four,” Carter interrupted her. “There were only three in the den,”
I started sarcastically clapping. “Oh WOW what BRILLIANT observation skills. We got a REAL detective over here.”
He mumbled something under his breath as Berry continued talking.
“ANYWAY, as I was saying before I was so RUDELY INTERRUPTED, the Ravagers chased them into the den, killed both of them, one of them left with the one corpse while the other three stayed to eat.”
“Well, it’s getting really late,” I said.
“The sun JUST set,” Leo said.
“Eh what ever, I’m going to sleep.”
I collapsed onto my bed of leaves and practically passed out.

Chapter five
We prowled through the dense mushroom forest, looking for something to eat. Leo spotted a herd of five Stegos.
“I’ll distract the four adults while you go do the juvenile,” he said in a serious, but hushed voice.
I nodded.
“Alright, on my count. Threeeeee,”
I was ready to strike.
“Twoooooo.”
“Ooooone.”
“Now!” He practically yelled, startling me.
He successfully distracted the adults, while I latched on to the side of the juvenile. I tore a chunk of flesh from her side and spit it onto the ground. I looked over at Leo to see how he was doing. He had a bleeding wound in his side and all the adult Stegos had surrounded him, putting his back to the wall of a cliff. While I was distracted looking at Leo, the juvi Stego managed to buck me off her side. I landed hard on the ground, knocking the wind out of me. I looked up, and the Stego had her tail raised, ready to bring it down on me. Just than, I heard a loud BANG and both sides of her head erupted in a splash of blood. She fell, dead, on the ground. I looked over at Leo, and the same happened to all the Stegos around him. I slowly got to my feet and saw something shiny slide down the hill beside us. I recognized it immediately. It was a human in full, what did they call it, flack or something, anyway he was wearing shiny armor, except for a helmet.
“Name’s Carter.” He said.
“How ‘bout you two.”

Chapter 21
Goon looked up at the sky and waited. His shadow shot out ahead of him. "Guess the coast is clear then," he mumbled. The shadow jumped around, excited. Goon smiled, "What are you so happy about?"
He didn't need to ask. He was excited too. It had been two years since Alisa had taken down the shadow wyvern queen, and though she had offered him a way home, he'd decided to stay after all. As long as he could stay in the tundra, that is.
He'd trekked out on his own after that, and had found a few carno companions to stay at his side. They were with him now. Goon jerked his head forward. "Come on," he said to them before following after the shadow. It led him through the slopes of the snow biome until they reached the end of their wooded area ans came upon a clearing. Ahead, Goon could make out the shapes of two figures attacking a mammoth. He turned to the carnos, "You know what to do," he said with a nod.
As soon as the mammoth's body hit the ground, Goon and the carnos charged from the treeline, roaring and baring their teeth. Goon's roar sent the figures running backwards for a moment before one of them shouted to the other. They both ran and pounced on Goon, digging their claws into his back.
"Ow, ow! Alisa, it's me!" he shouted.
"I know exactly who you are," she hissed.
The carnos collapsed in laughter. Alisa and Diana jumped off of his back, not amused. "What's the matter with you, scaring us like that? I thought we were about to have to fight for our lives."
He laughed, "Well I missed you guys too. One of my crew spotted you, and I couldn't resist coming to say hello."
Diana looked at the carnos skeptically. "I thought they had bad eyesight," she whispered.
Goon shook his head, "Not them." The shadow shot past him, dancing around Alisa and Diana in the form of a snake. "He missed you too."
Alisa smiled down at the shadow then looked back up at Goon. "So were you just planning to leave now or are you going to help us take this back to our cave," she said jerking her head to the mammoth carcass.
Goon grinned. "Nah, you look like you can handle it," he said before nodding to his carnos to help him drag the carcass. "But we are going to expect payment. How about you let us share this with you?"
"Deal," Alisa said before jumping on top of the mammoth's body and motioning for Diana to follow. "Now mush."

Monarchy's Plight
Chapter 16
Alisa slipped through the entrance, avoiding shadow wyverns. She spotted boulders blocking caves, those must be the cells. Alisa snuck over to one of the boulders and rolled it enough so she could see inside. She peeked her head through and yanked it back out, narrowly missing getting her head bitten off by a prisoner shadow wyvern. Alisa quickly rolled the rock back into place before the shadow wyverns heard. She continued until she reached the last one. She rolled it aside and sighed in relief. Inside was her sister.
"Hey, Diana. " Alisa whispered.
"Who are you?" Diana asked.
"Its me, Alisa. Im here to get you out, now hurry!" Alisa ordered.
Alisa turned around and froze in her place.
"What are you waiting for, move!" Diana hissed.
Diana walked up beside Alisa and froze aswell. Standing infront of them was the queen of the shadow wyverns.

Chapter 14
Alisa stared out into the desert. She looked back into her cave and saw the Goon was asleep. He wouldnt help her anyways. Alisa ran out into the desert, going in the direction the wyvern took her sister. After awhile, with the blazing heat, and the lack of water Alisa had to stop for a rest. 30 minutes later she was back to running. Any chance she got she climbed to a high place and started gliding for a birds eye view. Alisa dug her claws into a cactus and hoisted herself up. She leapt into a glide and finally caught sight of the nest.
Alisa hid behind a rock as a wyvern exited the nest. She ran over to where it came from and saw 5 wyverns guarding the entrance. Alisa backed away and followed the wyvern that left. She leapt onto its back and put a claw to its jugular.
"Where are the prisoners?" Alisa hissed.
"I'll never say!" The wyvern hissed back.
"Okay then, I guess I have to kill you." Alisa threatened.
"Okay okay, They're in the middle of the nest." The wyvern replied.
Alisa jumped off the wyvern and watched it fly away. They would probably tell the guards soon, so she had to hurry.

Chapter 13
Goon pulled his leg out of the freezing cold water. It was just about fully healed now. Only a scar remained, and as a result he had started hunting again. He dragged the carcass of a megatherium up the rocky hillside to the cave. Alisa was sitting at the mouth of the cave, staring out with a dazed look. Goon followed her gaze towards the desert. He snorted before plopping down and tearing into the carcass. "Alright. What's the matter with you?" He asked.
The shadow, which had curled in the shape of a feathered raptor (a deinonychus, Alisa had said) sat next to her, and waved its claws to catch her attention. Alisa snapped out of her daze and turned to Goon. "What?"
"You've been staring out there for days. Are the wyverns really that bad? Are you worried they'll come back?" He stood suddenly, worried.
Alisa shook her head, "No, they ... my sister. I saw the first wyvern holding my sister."
Goon sat back down again and returned to eating. "Oh."
"Oh?" Alisa scoffed. "What do you mean, oh?"
Goon shrugged. "She got caught. Nothing we can do about it."
Alisa stood, her eyes flashing angrily. "Nothing we can do? That's my sister! I'm not just going to let her be taken, be eaten!"
Goon stood defensively, "Well what do you want me to do? Run headfirst into a pack of those things to help some creature I don't even know? Just forget about her."
"Forget about her?!" Alisa's feathers stood, and she bristled at his words. Tears were forming in her eyes and her voice came out as angry whispers. "Do you have siblings?" Goon hesitated before slowly shaking his head. "I didn't think so. You have no idea what I'm going through, so don't you dare try to tell me to forget the one person who hasn't turned their back on me!"
The shadow looked quickly between the two of them before backing away into the dark of the cave. Goon said nothing. He was frustrated and slightly ashamed. He turned and walked to the back of the cave to lie down and sleep. "Eat before the food spoils," he said quietly. Alisa didn't speak, she just turned back to the cave's entrance, staring back out into the desert again.
