Deinonychus is basically a small rock drake just doesn’t have the abilities and doesn’t live in a cave.

I would recomend using a pt and just grab the egg but i used a trike(lvl 146 to be exact) pumped up some lvls into hp and melee, nothing much happened just got myself 6 deino eggs and really low hp and 2 good lvl eggs, personally id say it was worth it.Dont get deini eggs with something that cant fly way less something big like a trike.

Essential tame. Bring powerful tame or flyer to snatch the eggs. Eggs are used to make extraordinary kibble. Tears bosses to shreds, decent climbers up verticle walls, spawns all over chalk hills (bottom right of map) with 4other possible nests near green obilisk (2by swamp 2 on plateau by cliff past casteroids lake)

They can grab on to your rex or bronto so bring something to tank it and have your tribe shoot it

Make sure that the closest birds are stuck in rocks or something and cant move. Then grab as many as you can

It spawns on the top middle of the fjord we map

When you see a wild when your less than level 25, freaking run, or , you dead.Yell merde if it chases you.

These guys are so fast and they have a bleed ability like the ravenger but when tamed the blood affect stays stealing the egg is hard though

Make sure you don't have any additional dinos mods they mess with the spawing

Use a snow owl to locate them and the eggs with the heat vision to find the eggs in the nest and u can use the freeze ability to stop them from eating your bird

This is a cricket on crack you even look at their eggs and that is the last time you spawn over their

Charge in on a Triceratops with 2-3 more Tri-puppies and wipe them all out before heading to the nests. The Tri-puppers will tank the damage and and you steal the eggs!

Saw a tip saying that you’re not hit by the Dino that you latch onto. That’s not true, they can still hit you

Don’t get cornered. Learnt the hard way

This thing will rip you to shreds. Try to bola your tribe mate and run for it!

SINGLE PLAYER PLAYERS:

If you can’t seem to find deinonychus nests, play the map for at least an hour, loading in a bit of it. Then, use the “WipeWildDino” command (look up how if you don’t know). Load in all the dinos again and then go back to main menu and rejoin. There should be deinonychus nests now spawning. At least that’s what worked for me.

Nests are mostly found in wide open areas with several in one spot in only one area on the map. It is also one of my fav pack hunters really helpful for alphas for that sweet loot

I have 30 of these I live by three nests and have even more animals by my house dude one minute to loot all did the same thing with wvrens (SNOW AWOL) DO IT MY WAY sensory (wv guy)
