Tips & Strategies
Deinonychus are very underrated for boss fights especially on low rate servers. If you use a yuty with them the bosses will target the yuty and not the deinos. This means they will not get hit much so donβt need crazy mutated health. Deinos can also form a wall and stop the boss getting to you. Since deinos also bleed bosses and do percentage damage to them you do not have to spend time mutating their damage very high to kill alpha bosses. I have beat the 3 alpha island bosses with an army of slightly mutated deinos before. You would struggle doing the same with slightly mutated rexs.

Deinonychus: all you need to know
The deinonychus is a raptor-like carnivore best used in packs of at least 3. They do a bleed effect that can stack, so having multiple deinonychus will be no less than deadly to any enemies. You canβt actually tame a deinonychus in the wild due to their high intelligence and the strong bond they have with their pack. To acquire a deinonychus you must steal a fertile egg from one of their nests. It is best to distract the pack than to take it head on. The danger of this feat is being swarmed by a pack, so one should stay as far as possible from a actual wild deinonychus. If need be, to kill a deinonychus it is best to use a strong ranged weapon. You can use a sword or a powerful mount as well, but it is best to avoid hand-to-claw combat. Thank you for reading and I hope you have a nice day. ^ for more

The Deinonycus egg makes Extraodinary kibble
Tame them by getting their eggs. Use a whip while you're grappled to a flyer. They need five fireplaces to hatch. It doesn't take that long for them to grow, but to hatch them it's thirty minutes. They can be found easily on the white cliffs along with their eggs. I don't care if you like this or not I just wanna give tips.
This Dino is okay because you donβt take fall damage and it can climb (kinda) but the biggest down side of this Dino is itβs stam you will need to pump its stam ALOT!!!!
This raptor 2.0 takes no fall damage. Fall damage is not in itβs vocabulary
They can jump on big creatures and bite without being hit by the dino they are on. Drains stamina very quickly. Can also climb like a rock drake, but this also uses up lots of stamina.
They don't take fall damage
Looks strong be carful around these big jerks
I would definitely recommend this to everyone as long as they feed them and not starve them to death they in my perspective are the best tames
A better raptor, there is no other way to put it.
