You can solo alpha dragon with 1 deino. Level only into health and bring wyvern milk for the fire breath. When he lands, run to his left foot and start biting. He won't be able to hit you and the deino is one of the only creatures who's bleed affects bosses. Credit to arindam gaming. Search up his video for more details

These puppy’s are always fun to encounter because they are adorably terrifying. They have many abilities which make it an absolute MUST have to own. *slaps hood* these bad boys can go for miles!

To Raise- (on official vanilla servers)

This new guy is pretty much like a raptor. There are 4 imprints 8 hour apart from each other. The egg incubation is 5 hours (like a Wyv). The baby stage is roughly 4 hours and the baby will be a Juvy at 10% (like any normal baby). Be careful though if hatching low level guys as they eat 3 meat per sitting so they go through it fast, and if leaving overnight there is a chance of starvation. Mine was a 140 and it’s food value is 3800. We hatched them Sunday morning at 10:30am (Juvy by 2:30pm) and my final Imprint is Monday evening at 6:30. He is now an Adolecent. Saddles unlock at lvl 32. Hopefully this helps you all because we had to test it in order to get the proper information. (R.I.P Lvl 100). GoodLuck !

These guys are idiots. Many of them spawn on clifftops. Just bring in a flyer (Argies or Pteranadons will do just fine) and take a swipe at them. They will all zero in on you instantly. Kite them right off a cliff. Do a smug slow-walk as you claim the eggs in complete safety.

For hatching these, I recommend you use 13 - 15 standing torches. If you do not use this amount, they will be “too cold”. These guys r gods at pvp and pve and you can get soo many eggs that they will soon be disposable. I highly recommend these creatures to you and their saddles is learnt at a low level. I found a nest at exactly 42.8 and 82.5

Found nests around 45° 75° near the castle there on fjordur hope this helps

I just got my first egg (level 30) and I got triplets. I used 4 stone fireplaces to keep the egg warm.

Need a Minimum of 16 torches to hatch this egg. You can not tame, must find the nest and collect egg.

Just land in the nest with a pt, take the egg when there not around or distracted, no need for bait. Use about 15 standing torches. Me and my friend tamed 4 high lvls using this method.

Quick tip! If your nervous its most likely that youll slip up. Take a breather and lock in. You got this! They can smell your fear.

The good and bad of this Dino

The good: they can deal bleed damage to bosses

The bad: they only spawn on two maps

Dont use low level pteranodon I've seen it

I just waited for them to go after other Dino’s and stole their eggs

In valugro the eggs are in the bottom right corner of the map

Deinonychus eggs can only be gotten like the rock Drake or wyverns, you just steal a fertilized egg from their nest. Normally I would use a snow owl to freeze it while my tribe mate grabs the eggs. Or you can have a gun and a dinosaur with good melee. (The gun to shoot it if it latches on your mount). And kill them and grab the eggs.

Their nests are usually unguarded,use that time to get them!

It's not even hard, just grab an egg and hop on your pt...

you can't knockout tame them you can only take the eggs and raise them I say get high level eggs and breed the deininychus for higher level ones
