You can tame any level wyvern with regular crystal. The taming effectiveness and percentage drop was a glitch in the files of ark and the devs fixed it. Thank you wild card🙏🙏🙏🙏

Three variants of crystal wyvern:

Tropical, weird steam breath, if you touch water it’ll get the same buff that Spinos do.

Ember, generally considered the worst wyvern in the whole game, just a fire wyvern that gets stronger the more you use its breath, needs lots of stamina to even be somewhat decent.

Blood, if you hit something with its breath attack it’ll siphon its health away to heal yourself, I’m pretty sure it also gets the same buff that argies do when you eat a corpse.

A Crystal Wyvern is always close to the same colored crystals (tropical➡️blue, ember➡️orange & blood➡️red)

I think that they should make it so the crystal wyverns are separat from normal ones on here because of there differences in taming, I also think you can breed the crystal ones...

They exist in UME. They have to be spawned and can be found in genesis 2 mission, survive the ark.

How to tame: wait till it lands then climb on its back. Feed it some tasty crystal (They prefer the sweet, sweet primal type) it will take off don't worry you won't fall. DON'T LOOK DOWN!!! Go into third person. After the first feed wait a thousand years and feed it again (he will start getting hungrier after the second munch) wait till it's tamed, and hop on and ride it. After eating tons of crystal (please don't try eating crystal at home... Seriously) he then wants some fresh raw meat. (Don't eat that either) And that's how you tame. Hope it helped! -wise wise man

The crystal wyvern heir variants are regular crystal wyverns with crystal skulls on their heads and are highly aggressive. These heirs are what lay the crystal wyvern eggs, and the eggs hatch into normal crystal wyvern. They can be all the way to the level 225 on a regular server where 150 is the max level. When encountering, you can fly away if you have a fast enough mount with you, or you can face them. When attacking, I highly recommend you have a hogh level crystal wyvern to fight with as this is one of the only other flyers on the map that can rival these creatures. They spawn at the desert wyvern hive, which will have hexagonal catacombs in and around it, just as the trenches in scorched earth and other maps do. If you are attempting to steal an egg, have a fast creature and be aware that every other heir wyvern in the area will aggro on you. If this tip was helpful, up and let me now.

Im pretty sure you cant download or cryopod transfer these guys, but whoever wants to experiment and send fertilized egg through you would be have my respect if you commented, plz do before devs fix if it works though

Although passive tamed ones produce an egg that cant hatch when breeding, it still works for extraordinary kibble. Easy way to get special eggs

Just climb on its back an feed it crystals for five hours. Then put it in the obelisk to put it in the island just to have it go with a crash. My poor level 139 Crystal Wyvern…

The easiest way to tame a crystal Wyvern is to find a low level and lead it into a trap made from 4 behemoth stone gates then just tranq it out with tranq arrows. Once it's out take it crystal, keep doing this until you have a good amount (15+) then find a high level one and chase it until it lands then feed. Do this until it's tamed and then you have a crystal Wyvern. Plus they are good for charcoal.

Am i the only one who has tamen Crystal wyvern with less then 800 health (Not injured but with full health)in ASE?

TRANFERRING IS POSSIBLE! I uploaded all 3 of my passive tamed crystal wyverns into the obelisk & transferred them to Ragnarok & The Island w no issue whatsoever. I didn’t try cryopod transfer, as doing that makes me nervous & I don’t like to risk it. But transferring through the obelisk works.

Basically if you like the glow of wyverns you would want to learn some stuff I found out so...female wyverns glow brighter if needed to know.. they also seem a bit bigger. Now besides that I wish on tropical wyverns we could swim in with the wyvern it needs a bit work for how they function...but otherwise it’s good!

best way to passive tame is to jump on their back and feed them regular crystals or prime crystals !!
