When approaching the creature get as close as possible then swim back to show they'll be stuck on shore and then you can hit them with your hand or any other weapon and then you could collect biotoxin

I live near dead island. Used my lvl 246 sarco to go get some drops since there was a leedsicthees, so nope to raft, horde of like 20 of these killed my sarco.

Tamer’s heaven. Bio toxin is much more effective than normal narcs. Also easy to kill with a basilosaurus...and is worth killing. Spawns mostly in the south zones 1 and 3. Even on low level if you spot these guys near the shore you can make relatively short work of them with a spear.

I lost my level 442 tek para to these guys. Be prepared

Some of the players see them as Annoying critters,But they have a use...If you can kill a Jellyfish,I mean Cnidaria...U can get 10-12 biotoxin,Which is good,If u are taming a creature,When it's torpor goes down..We use nacrotics as solution...It increases 40-80 torpor...But a single bio toxin...It's increases 80-180 torpor thats insane...Because Nacrotics need 5 berries and a spoiled meat ..But if u kill a jelly fish u'll get many biotoxins that is equalient to many Nacrotics....U can kill them with basilosaur easily..and lure them to beach shore and killing them,But this method is risky,Because if u get close,They can give u a electronic punch that takes lot of health...I recommend using bow and crossbows for killing it...It's a friend and foe

Grab the most lethal harpoon launcher you can find and get chitin armour, I lost a low level Mosasaurus because of these wretched things

If you wanna kill these, but you're a beginner, just use a slingshot. Or if you can, use a bow and stone arrows. Harvest their bodies, they can't shock you if they're dead. They give bio toxin, which is a very effective narcotic.

Fun fact, if you tame a moschops on the island snd level up its melee alot then lead these to the surface and you can kill them! I did this and got 100± bio toxin using this

Great for biotoxin but I have lost countless spines to these freaks, and occasionally a Rex. However they are much better then electromorphus but still, I hate them for killling the first spino I ever tamed.

Just use a spear, pike, or a ranged weapon. But just bring a lot of spears if you choose that option.

Just kill em from a raft it's easier

They are easy to kill if you lead them to land. Just use a spear and stab them as many times as your heart desires. However be careful cause 4 if these killed 7 of my dinos when I wasn’t paying attention.

I like to shoot it from the water shore so when it chases after me it gets caught on the shore and then just shoot it and it can't kill you

Guys please, what do I do? I want to tame a Basilosaurus, but these annoying things are everywhere, I am near the Basilosaurus but if I approach to feed them the cnidarias will kill me and my Megalodon (lvl 164 with TEK saddle) help-
