Following the events of the Beershed Robbery humans were very shy towards Chalicotherium for fear of being pelted with rocks. Even despite this, some Chalicotherium chose not to follow the common code of “Destroy All Humans” for fear that they would never be able to find and kill the original culprits in the first place, so these Chalicotherium believed it to be a waste of time therefore. Eventually, humans ran to their homes and began a Beer Trade of their own, in which they constructed Beer Barrels by mass quantity within their own homes. They then looked up famous Beer recipes and then put them in, then let the Beer Barrels work their magic, then filled their water jars with the beer and went searching for Chalicotherium to tame with the beer in an attempt to restore the peace between the two species. Those of Chalicotherium who were tamed accepted the offer and rebelled against their own kind, excluding other tamed Chalis to defend their owners. The rest still remain hostile today.

One happy day, it was wandering around with its freinds, drinking a beer, having a conversation. the usual, you know? They decided to go walk back to their giant shed full of beer, as they had run out. When they got there, they saw it was in ruins, all their beer gone, and several humans lugging it away. They went to persue the thieves, but the criminals disappeared into the woods, and they could find no trace of the culprits. Other then that they were humans, they could not tell exactly who had taken their delicious beverages! Enraged, the group of freinds went out, telling everyone of their kind of what happened. To this day, all chalicotheriums are convinced that every human they see was one of the culprits of the disaster, and do their best to destroy them.
