These should be able to make dams while tamed

No need to trap these guys like I see other comments saying you can just bola them and tranq them out with a crossbow! Also they are amazing for farming wood and have a reduced carry weight for it

If u have A argi try to make A trap some where In water then take it to the trap and let it go around for some time and then u Will get u own cp farm without the jerks who dont drop the Wood make sure to Be close to it some times it Can dspawn after some houres

If you are on mobile and you raid one of the dams, just close the game and open it back up and the beavers wont be chasing you.

How to kill:

Have 5-7 dilos

1-2 pars

Whistle neutral

Take from its dam

Then it’s dead

(The higher the level the more tames you need)

Still new to the game I did a lot of research and ended up developing a building strategy. I tame a beaver, a moose, and an armadillo and fill each to cap. I then park them in a semi circle like work trucks.

Pump atk, weight, and a bit of health and I don't touch the rest. While I have no doubt that this little bugger could make it out in the world that's why I have a rex and a spino.

Also while fastish on land they really gain speed in water. Not a super water tame, but if you need to cross a river or island hop they're better than swimming yourself.

heres how to get a very useful dino

1. Tame a beaver

2. Give it its saddle

3. You have a smithy with legs

do the same withe equus and you have a chemistry table with legs

One of the best utility creatures in the game! They get bonuses to carrying wood and stone. Can harvest berrys/wood relatively well. Lower the decay rate of meats, act as a mobile smithy, and swim fast af!

Best way to get wood is to find a nest take a high weight and decent damage mount and yoj would get atleast 600 to 1300 wood from their dams. With a chance of getting Silica pearls and cementing paste.

If you need silica pearls, cementing paste, flowers, mushrooms, wood, and chitin maybe, just raid their dams. Just prepare to run after you do so for they will agro on you or just get a Dino to kill them

4:collect the materials

Really only good for harvesting near water, or if you can't get a mammoth or thorny dragon.

I find the carry weight on mine is pretty poor, so it's not much faster than running back and forth with a hatchet.

Can be used as a smithy when you have its saddle equipped recommended to because it doesn't have a slot limit and can be encumbered and still used as one the only down side to this is it needs food so plop down a feeding troth near it and ta da. Don't forget it will poop so be ready with a mop.

You can harvest beavers for pelt.

If you see these place battlement and put them in the area so you get cement and free food

Okokokok so these things are GREAT! the saddle serves as smithy, they collect wood, fiber and thatch EXTREMELY well(not as good as a few other dinos but you get my point), and they are an early-game tame(although saddle is 61, it is still useful before then)and are still good in mid to late game! I would suggest taking one of these as fast as possible.
