Taming & KO Tips

How do I tame a castoroides? Tips and strategies on taming and knocking out a castoroides.
Wild casteroids will build beaver dams... these can be accessed as an inventory and generally have wood, cementing paste, and some sort of rare item, either flowers or mushrooms. Just only access these when no casteroids are nearby, as they will agro when you open it
Taming takes FOREVER I had the fastest rate of taming setting on, and it took me 3 times of it waking up and I gave up
Ya right this needs 4 bio toxin, I’m almost out of my third stack
I started hunting one for the pursuit and It took me around 10 minutes of waiting patiently for it to get close enough to the water surface for me to pick it up with my Argy.
All I did was shoot a low level beaver with tranquilizer darts and feed it some citronals. It took me quite some time, but I got it. I do think it should be able to build beaver dams after taming. If you’re wondering how many narcotics I used, I used somewhere around 100 narcotics. I can’t remember how many I used. I think it was level four when I tamed it, and I was using citronals on Mobile ARK. I would recommend overpacking with narcotics and citronals because you don’t want to accidentally run out of supplies mid-tame. Hopefully this helps you get your very own beaver! :)
How to tame magic canada castoroidies Step 1: tame a castoroides Step 2: paint it cyan, magenta or any colour like that. Step 3: Name it magical canada beaver
Prepare some soothing balm to slap it on em, or its gonna be hella difficult taming
I tamed a level twenty in 3 min with azulberries with no narcotics
Where ever it says "how many narcotics needed" on this app is a lie. You almost always need way more than is recommended on here. So do not plan your tames around how many narcotics this app recommends for it.
Get on a high rock u dumbos just kidding but srsly get on a high rock tranq it don’t get off even if it’s runs away and wait for the tranq to effect and boom a giant beaver but I’d recommend mojo berries
This overpowered thing is easy to kill for me shoot the head with a bow with yellow ball then ded
Want to tame them well it’s not that easy
Step.1 don’t stand in front or it will bite
Step.2 stay behind or on the side when trying to make it sleep
Step.3 once it’s knocked out feed it berrys or fish
Then you have it
When knocked out use narcoberrys to raise the torpor as narcotics do not work as well.
This sucker wakes up really quick, so bring lots of extra narcotics. I usually bring double what this app says I need.
Are easy to knock out just stand on an elevated position and fire away
So I decided to tame a 110 beaver at 1 in the morning and the wait time was 3hrs and 12 mins because it was 1.5x taming and the torpor was 10 mins and so I waited an hour and got to about 40% until I closed my eyes a lil and didn't wake up till now which is like 4 hours later
These creatures are normally friendly as long as you stay away from their dams. However, their dams do contain many valuable items such as cementing paste and rare flowers or mushrooms.
Keep an eye out for beaver dams, when you access them the beavers will come and find you! I would recommend making a small taming tower or boat to tame which is simply 3 pillars high and a ceiling on top plus a means of getting ontop
Cuts woods weight to 10 and collects a lot of wood. If you want to get a lot of wood take an argy than pick up your beaver to redwood and the redwood trees get you more wood than regular trees
if you have Narco, you do not need narcoberries to tame them
