My advice for the island is look at the edges of swamps their dams tend to be built in that area and keep a flyer close because once you start to tame them they have a weird tendency to attract titanaboas...

if you find a one of these over sized slobs dams loot them hold down and loot them I use to have 10 wood now I have 1990 and a lot of mushrooms and rare flowers EPIC FIND and kill the beaver first or it will kill you pets and feast on you liver Lol

If you met one of these guys just kill it and afterwards look for it’s dam, in the dam you will find between 200-700 wood and 100 to 700 cement paste WARNING don’t take the stuff out while they are still alive unless your a quick runner

If your below 30 dont fight this they do alot of damage if your gonna stole stuff fly with an argy carry a daedon then stole some good stuff then carry it back home dont forget about the daedon

I tamed one at lvl 5

It is almost as good as lvl 59 sarco

Only a bit of levels in melee should do

How to kill in steps

1. Make sure u r not in the water

2. Shot it repetitively in the face with bow/crossbow

3. It dies

These things don’t give up once they start chasing you, I ran into my yard and closed the gates so it couldn’t get in, so it started to eat my wooden spikes, like dismantling them fast, you get loads of wood/cement/wildflowers from them though, I take a sarco and demolish them..

So if you want some “easy” pelt or like not going into the winter you can just kill these small guys that will murder you with there fat teeth and will swarm you but also if you find one you have a chance of finding a beaver dam. JUST BE CARFUL OF MORE OF THEM AROUND

Lol I was beaver dam raiding and then like 50 of them just came from another dam and instantly killed me and my stego. Rip

Easy way of emptying their dams, bolas, then knock it out....empty and destroy dams, retreat.......repeat next time you go back, EASY !!

Use a giga a spino a allo or Rex and you will be fine.

So I was walking in with my tribe. Normal stuff ya know? Then we saw a level 5 castorides so we just punched it. Our 3 level 50 raptors (Thief, Slasher, and Snapper) started attacking. We were level 75 with metal armor and swords so we helped the raptors. The raptors did a LOT of damage and we also helped. Slasher got down REALLY low on health, but other than that we all were fine and killed it in 5 seconds.

If you see their dam, you can take stuff from it. But be careful, they will come back and attack you.

This is how you can run beaver dams on foot. get flak armor and a crossbow and with about a hundred arrows . Find a beaver dam steal what you need and run around like a headless chicken shooting the beavers. That’s how you rob beaver dams on foot. Up if helpful down if unhelpful
