I swear I love this thing!! I was walking around on my equus, and I see a beaver dam! I have my legit unstoppable pack of barys behind me and I check the dam inventory. I find 700 wood , SIX HUNDRED AND FIFTY CEMENTING PASTE THAT A LEGIT NEED LIKE A LOT OF, And a bunch of rare flower that I put in front of my creature graves 😭. And then I found ANOTHER one!! I'm like OMG same amount of stuff and same kind of stuff , but then I hear fighting , and like 6 beavers are gangin up on my baryonyx pack , I knock them all out with equus buck kick nd tame! wander and aggressive, imma rule this game 😁

If you met one of these guys just kill it and afterwards look for it’s dam, in the dam you will find between 200-700 wood and 100 to 700 cement paste WARNING don’t take the stuff out while they are still alive unless your a quick runner

If your below 30 dont fight this they do alot of damage if your gonna stole stuff fly with an argy carry a daedon then stole some good stuff then carry it back home dont forget about the daedon

So what I usually do in single player is build stone walls making a square shape, get and argyle grab them drop them in this keeps them safe from predators and from them escaping, just do and extra wall on top to be sure, then build a storage box where I have boLas, whenever I need their loot I just Bola them as this can last for about 30 seconds get your bird which will carry the loot in first stop them in the enclosure, then Bola or tranq them out which tranq in is more better especially if you have more than 2 and you can do this outside of the enclosure which is highly recommended because these guys cannot Destory stone once mobilized or tranq out get what you need fast and get out these guys torpor drop very quickly, and a very special note it's best to build the enclosure and leave these guys where you find them as they will have less chance of despairing don't waste your time taming these guys you get so much more resources when they are wild from their dams.

You can trap some wild ones in a small cage/trap made of stone to farm dams

If you are farming cementing paste then once collected kill The ones that start chasing you than wait 5 mins than another should appear this is how I do it

Taming takes FOREVER I had the fastest rate of taming setting on, and it took me 3 times of it waking up and I gave up

Lol I was beaver dam raiding and then like 50 of them just came from another dam and instantly killed me and my stego. Rip

The Giant Beaver Dams contain lots of cementing paste, rare flowers and mushrooms, and wood. This tip will save you lots of time.

Want to tame them well it’s not that easy

Step.1 don’t stand in front or it will bite

Step.2 stay behind or on the side when trying to make it sleep

Step.3 once it’s knocked out feed it berrys or fish

Then you have it

Swim speed is pretty good and they use no stam in water so they can swim indefinitely

When knocked out use narcoberrys to raise the torpor as narcotics do not work as well.

I tamed one at lvl 5

It is almost as good as lvl 59 sarco

Only a bit of levels in melee should do

DON’T ENGAGE!!!! I saw one take out a freaking sarco 😳

In ark mobile don't tame this guy cause only wild can make a DAM which gives you good amount of wood,silica, cement paste and etc. So just pick this casto with argy and put him some trapped area which contains water and land so you get free DAM from them

I am taming this guy with berries and even in unconscious they built damn with lots of cemetery paste and other stuff, must tam Atleast one for wood and cementry paste

So, for those who don’t know, wild beavers make dams, and in those dams, you can find tonnes of wood, rare mushroom, cementing paste, and rare flowers. On the island, they spawn in 2 spots near the redwoods, one being the river from the redwoods to Far’s Peak, and the other being the massive circle pond near the volcano.

Despite having an oxygen stat, rumour has it does not actually deplete when underwater

How to kill in steps

1. Make sure u r not in the water

2. Shot it repetitively in the face with bow/crossbow

3. It dies

4. Yes way to get pelt

This sucker wakes up really quick, so bring lots of extra narcotics. I usually bring double what this app says I need.
