It’s torp drops incredibly fast , bio toxins work best to keep it sleeping

Honestly I think they should make it to where if you put wood into a tamed one it should make a dam right

Up if you think they should be able to make wooden dams or even walls and/or structures when tamed (not all nice and clean and neat human structures though)

Don't kill these for pelt, it's a waste. Raid their dams and they will build more (just be ready to run immediatly!). Better to use them for endless cp.

Awsome tame but saddles need a lot of metal and cementing paste, so steal the cementing paste from their dams. :)

Do not engage if you are low level with bad weapon they will wreck your day

On fjordur you can find regular dams all over Asgard! No more suffering through that giant beaver den in deinonychus territory!

I think you should go to their dam and check around, if there aren't any too close just take the stuff hop on a flyer and send it

How to tame a castoroides, easy! As long as you have an argie.

Step 1: Find the beaver on your argie.

Step 2: Pick up said beaver.

Step 3: Make a trap, any mats. One foundation, and four doorframes.

Step 4: Drop beaver in. (Note: Might be a bit difficult to get the beaver in.)

Step 5: Tranq the beaver. (Oh and make sure you have berries. Lots of berries.)

Now, use your preferred taming method, and there you go!

if you don't have a powerful Dino, bolas work a wonder, just be careful if you run away, these things in water can match a megalodon tit for tat

If you destroy a nest/dam run these will murder you and you entire family if they take you by suprise

I just drop this guy in some woods right by my house that are carnivore free other than some dilos and i set him on wander (and attack target in case he needs to defend himself) and he just hobbles around collecting wood for me. Then I go pick him up with my argey and drop him by a storage box in my base then I just quickly transfer the wood and thatch and put him back to keep harvesting!

Lots of beavers spawn in the south of the island near herbivore island.

But if u want a specific level you’ll have to kill the bad ones and wait for the level u want. (Near the rock island)

Well I use this trick to tame all dinos and it works 98% of the times . Okay first tame a tapejara make a saddle and ride it when you see one of those guys go a little high and change your seat keep in mind your tapejara will automatically land on the ground if you change your seat to close to the ground . And I think you know what to do next , just tranq them and berries or vegetables feed them and keeping necrotic or bio toxin or else you just wasted all your effort and start celebrating when you tame it rather than celebrating when they are sleep cuz they wake up fast

Don’t try to kill it unless you have good weapons

I was trying to find one I went to the redwood forest to my tree base I left I forgot the beavers were there my game crashed I also had some gally kibble on me

2025 Valguero, you can still knock it out in a trap, and let it wake up and the food still drains while it’s up 🙌🏾

A very good mount for wood and even self defense. High level Castro does do a lot of damage, in early game I would take a high level for self defense. I could still build with it at protect myself at the same time. Have a team of a dodic, Castro, megaloceros, and argy you have yourself the perfect building team.
