damaged quite quickly. Also make sure to plab the return route first, because i failed to and mine got murdered, well, slaughtered is more accurate, by an alpha raptor that ran out of the woods. My brand new carno lasted about 5 seconds, then the alpha went and killed three brontos in a group. Learn from my mistake, plan the rout home, scout well. Good luck

If the Carno is a lower level I would recommend using raw meat to save kibble.

How to tame carno!

The carno is a horned theropod, similar to Rex. It spawns literately everywhere luckily not very common.

Materials:

Bow/crossbow

50 tranqs would be good? Better off with 100 to be safe safe.

A cliff.

A carno, best 90+ level.

Method:

1. lure the carno below the cliff.

2. Tranq it out.

3. Feed prime meat.

4. Watch torpor

Utilities:

Meat/hide harvester

Great cave animal! Do research on the caves

Giga killer because of bleed (pc)

Cool mount.

One tip: in ark mobile, when you sleep it makes all dinos in render, completely starved. I don’t know if it works on mobile.

I tamed one by using large bear traps and I shot at it until it ran into my line of bear traps, one after another as I shot it with tranq arrows. I named him brute because carnos look brutal and angry haha

Btw if you use the bear traps, make sure to set them out before getting the carno or any tames attention because the traps take a few seconds to set.

I actually got lucky because I found one being pummeled by a stego and one of the long necks , I just tamed my first ever Raptor(lvl.7) so I snuck in and hit him with a few tranq arrows. I managed to knock him out and I started to feed him narcotics and raw meat, it took forever but I managed to tame him after 30ish minutes. This was in the middle of a pond at night with a therzo nearby, needless to say I’m lucky and terrified.

If they ain’t alphas a pretty easy tame 😡😡😡

How to tame a carno Step one get a crossbow step two get five tranq arrows (note for low level ) Step three find a carno step four shoot it with the crossbow step four put raw meat into it’s inventory (note only if you can’t get raw prime meat) step five KILL ALL THE DINOSAURS ON THE ISLAND step six rule the island

Don’t be afraid just run shoot cross bow tranqs in the head and you’re dead if it’s lvl 100

You should get to high grounds and keep hitting it with tranquilizer s

You could use a trap with 2 foundations, 2 high walls around, and a ramp, just lure it in then tranq

Carno's can't climb up ladders so make a ladder get up high and shoot it with tranq arrows

A quick tip some times the dino ai in this game act dumb so sometimes they get stuck on rocks or trees if this happens knock the carno out and feed it raw meat however make sure you stay near it cuz I left before and i came back to a dead carno ;(

I knocked out a carno and it was so close to being tamed!But it died

Surprisingly easy tames!

1. Get ascendaby bow from dilo hunt pursuit

2. Get tranq arrows by farming creatures like raptors and titanaboas

3. Find a big rock, or build a small wooden tower

4. Load your bow with tranqs and make sure you have narcos and meat

5. Attack the carno from the rock or tower! If you built a tower, act fast! Carnos can damage wood, but it will delay him

6. Once the carno is K.O.d, you know what to do

First time I was taming one I had ton of tranq darts to tame this and I had flak armour but after 2 shots it was down… I could of took tons of hits!

Well, how to tame this? You got the right place. You need 15 tranq arrows if you have a trike the trike has thick skin ride it and stun the carno and quickly shoot the face with tranq arrows the things you need is: Prime Meat Super kibble Jerky Mutton fish meat how to trap? If the carno is stuck put a stone foundation and 4 walls in all thats when the carno gets stuck.

I think the apps off tamed a 115 carno said it will be lvl 170 with kibble tame came out to be 173 tamed just a FYI

You need like 10 tranq darts and a saddle , they're not hard

It’s ez, just get a stack or two of raw meat, find one, get a bow or crossbow, and tranq arrows. it took about four tranq arrows from a crossbow to knock mine. I got a bit damaged tho, so to be safe, get some range or a fast mount like a raptor or gallimimus. Good luck
