UGH i was taming a level 90 carno cuz i alway wanted a carno then i went back to base to get spiked wall for my carno i was taming him in the swamp then when i came back…. HE WAS GONE HE WAS AT MAX TORPOR HE COULDNT HAVE WOKEN UP There was also no item cache now i cant find him i was preparing to tame him for so long now i cant find him :(

When taming put a raptor be side the carno when you go to get food for it

no need for trap just post self up on fairly tall rock and shoot

My carno didn't tale to Mick to knock ouț, I just spamed with with tranq arrow (i used a crossbow), mine was like lvl 7, but still, and She doesn't need narcis or smth

Just trap it in between 2 rocks that it can't fit through

FYI CARNOS DO AGRO SCORPIONS so be careful trying to tame one with a pulmonscorpius

U need only a boulder to tame and a bow with tranq arrows DO NOT TRY TO BOLA IT EONT WORK YOU WILL DIE

I was running away from pterarons cause I stole a egg I could have killed them but didn't so I ran and I got on top of one of those big rocks and saw a carno stuck in the rocks shot a few traqu arrows and got it tame.

If your petrandon have allot of health let it pasive And make the cano attack it then throw the arows on it it Will not attack you beacus it attack petrandon or any creatur have allot of health

First get any level equus and boost damage about five times so it kills lower level things and then find ur self a Carno get in front of it and wait for it to run at u kick it and it will instantly be knocked out ez tame

So you can put a wall of large bear traps then you aggro the thing it will get stuck. Then when it’s stuck knock it outs

I put down 2x2 Woden foundation 2 walls high with a door frame at one side and a ramp at other side.

Went near the carno he started chasing me i ran up the ramp got into the pen then got out through the door frame and the carno also climbed up the ramp dropped into the trap and couldn't get out through the doorframe and got trapped and tranqed him out with 9 tranq arrows(accendent bow) shoved raw meat 🍖 down his throat and 7 bio toxin and boom I had a carno who demolished 5 trikes in one go

you can tame them right when you get a crossbow and transfer! They run slower then you and faint after 4 arrows(only a low level one) then knock it out and shove food down its throat and play the waiting game

For rookies: Really easy tame if you have the supplies. Grab about 15-20 tranq arrows and something to shoot them (bow, crossbow, ect.) And get up on a high vantage point where they can't get you. Shoot them to heavens come! And bring some protection while taming, trikes should work.

THIS IS EASY to tame. You literally only need about 5 tranq arrows in a crossbow and it gets distracted easily ;)

Have it attack your dinos whilst they’re behind a suitable wall or gate. You then tranquilise it from a vantage point, a ramp would be suitable.

Build a two by three long stone platform and make a stone Dino gateway and gate and put it on the two platform. Stack stone doorways until it reaches the height of the gate. Put ceilings over the top. Open the door and aggro a carno into it by running and then through the doorways. Run around and close the door, then tranq it till knocked out. Happy Taming!
