This thing is so annoying to deal with so I would just get up high and constantly tranq it's butt

I killed o 3 of these suckers with 4 arrows i also sall a carno picking on a stego and the won with 3 tail shots

If one’s by your house all you have to do is get an bow/crossbow or something else and wait for it to get distracted then shoot kill the anamal attacking it or if it’s yours tell it to stop then get 11 meat that’s raw and the 11th one is if the meat spoils and I recommend you build wood or metal spikes around it then wait… oh and bring your bio toxin

Use a simple 2 by 2 stone trap with ramps and doorways. On the side away from the ramps, you want to put 2 high doorways. (4 stone foundation, 4 ramps, 10 stone doorways.)

Carnos are actually pretty good since they got that update and there easy to tame about 3 ok canoes can kill rexes and brontos

1. Build a raft

2.build a pen to tame the dinosaur

3. Sail to the Dino

4. Place a trap in an opening just big enough for the dinosaur to fit

5. Get the Dino to chace you

6. When you get to the raft, jump over the trap

7.place walls so the Dino can’t escape when the trap wears off

8. Bring the Dino back to where you when you made the raft

9. I’m pretty sure you know how it goes K

Get on a rock with a flyer and just tranq it worked for me

A good way for early carno taming (for low levels) is to attack it with a pachy and stand a little away from it while it is distracted and shoot it with tranq arrows until knocked out. Don’t smite me if this doesn’t work for you, but it worked for me.

Get a turtle, shoot the carno with a ranged weapon and let tiny hands fight, (be sure to help the turtle or when it's done, your next) unless it's a alpha carno, if it is RUN

To knock one out you need about 6 to 7 tranq arrows and 40 meat.

I tamed a level 70 female carno I starved her half way then used 30 prime meat and she went to level 102

If you are near a beach or river make ur raft into a Dino pen with stone walls and make it follow u into it then shut the doors and shoot darts through a window or door.... a lot easier than trying to get it trapped

I found that taming the carno an others is rather easy near water, they don't swim very well an will turn back for the shore while your tranqing it.

Make an taming pen, make an gate where he fits throuhg and make on the other side an door within the middle an large bear trap so you can walk around close the gate and fire on it. Good luck :D

For the players that can get bows get a bow and then get tranq arrows get to heighground the start shooting it until that boy/girl starts doin the flop!

One way to tame them is by using any meat and narcotics. Remember to bring LOTS of rotten meat and narcoberries for it. Use a crossbow with tranq arrows at a safe distance and knock it out. Afterwards, start the taming. Idk from there but this method is working for me. Just keep a close eye on it so it does not wake up on you, that is all that matters.

first make a wooden cage and go inside and shoot the carno, it can hurt you I tamed it in the cage

Okay to tame this thing without a trap is to stand on a rock and shoot its body or tail until it faints. After that, I recommend prime meat which isn’t hard to find for me since you can wait with your pterodactyls and punch it out with boas and praying for them to drop prime meat. And BOOM. There you go
