Tips & Strategies

What are tips for carnotaurus? Tips and strategies for carnotaurus in ARK: Survival Ascended & Evolved.
If it's chasing you and you're lucky enough to have attracted its attention without its mate try to run past another dinosaur that will defend itself. That will distract it then you can shoot it with your trank darts but once it starts torp running make sure you kill the other dinosaur cuz it will chase it and kill it once it goes down that's how I did it.
My Raptor took on a carno solo after the carno sneak attacket me
To escape: you can swim use a flyer use a raft or take your chances and run.
To tame: you can make it on a big rock with a ladder (what I did) or you can use stone but I'm not too sure about wood. Hopefully this helped.
PS: DONT LET IT IN WATER I killed my first one like that.
After you tame it upgrade its weight health melee damage movement speed and stamina as much as possible even by its self it can wipe out a group of raptors with its natural health and strength.
If you encounter a Carno beware because one of their attacks can give the player bleed affects. The Carno can easily be found in: beach regions, openings in the redwoods and grazing lands. The Carno can easily kill you by making you bleed then bashing you with there tough horns
Tamed one yesterday ,not too much effort ,just shoot them with tranq arrows ,trapping them is easy you dont need fancy dino gates etc , a rock with a narrow passage does just fine , no special foods needed , raw meat and a bit of narcotics goes a long way for a successful tame
I doing really good, but I was flying my pteranodon and I saw a carne near my base and I was like, “AAAAAAAAAAHHH!” So I come here to research their speed.
What is the speed of a level 13 carno?
Pls help
how get carno
1. make a trap
2. tranq it ( make sure it's a good level )
3. give good meat
4. it tame
5. name it toro in the name of our lost brother 💔
6. farm easy stuff ( parrys, carbos, dodo)
7. level it up ( preferably health, damage, and weight )
8. go ham
Carnos are probably the best thing to take with you to go Alpha hunting if you have no rexs yet. Their strong and quick primary attack can rival an Alpha Carno at only level 10(proven by personal experience)! Also, their relatively high torpor allows them to fight for a while if the opponent has high health( Alphas, Brontos, Rexs, Therizino’s, etc).
Alpha Carno? Fear not, use Dimophons(yes, a Flock of them, somewhere between 4-8) Craft a spyglass and target then get yourself a seat and enjoy.
Tamed my first Carno. He was an absolute beast. He would shred everything he went against. We would have a pack of raptors following us two. We were unstoppable until I met a pack of 6 allows and a rex.
I JUST TAMED A DIPLODOCUS AND A STUPID ALPHA CARNO COMES AND KILLS MY DIPLODOCUS AND MY BEST SARCO AND MY BEST TRIKE So I declare war on carnos
This thing is a good tame in between a raptor and a allosaurus…it’s stronger than a raptor but weaker than a allosaurus
You don't actualy need trap you can use tranq and a tall place and start shooting
Me and my friend were tryin to tame a sarco we nokd it down quite quick but wile we were killing a diplo that was pushing r pteranodons a carno attacked and Terri ( r lvl 80 pteranodon ) barely lived. R other pteranodon Trevor was fine tho. We left th game and havnt played since. Vote if u hope we kill the carno and tame th sarco. Also the sarco was 72% taming so we were close.
One of the best starter tames for a new survivor on Abberation. You can outrun lots of dangerous carnivores if you upgrade a little movement speed, and they are perfect for working your way up to taming a Spinosaurus. If you’re ever struggling to choose to tame either a Sarco or this, choose this.
