I am really new to this game I venture a little bit far from my base a carno started chasing me I have no pets what do I do I can't lure it to my base what do I do

To you scared of the alpha Carno, build 4 stone foundations and place them in a line facing the river, carno. It needs to look straight forward. On either sides, place stone walls that go up 2 blocks. Build 2 ramps and place them agains the wall, facing out where there are no foundations, and have them follow each other, like this.

The will be more horizontal in the game. Then close yourself in with more stone walls. Carnotauruses can’t break stone, so you will be ok. Get a trap set up ( infront of the top ramp but on the lowest floor, build a stone foundation and surround it with walls ) it may be grindy, but you, in a lot of time ( 20 days probably ) will farm up enough arrows. I’d say 1000 will do. Once everything is set up, lure the carno into the trap. Make sure you have a lot of wood and fiber on you to repair the bow you are using, and bam! You can kill the carno. Took two of these on the pro hunt no bola hunt. Didn’t get a bruise on me.

Terribly weak dino. Needs a buff badly, I'm not even intimidated by it in the wild... Could probably fist fight it and win... It essentially has same exact stats as Baryonyx but it's not equivalent to a God on land like Bary is underwater

I swam out to a rock and it got trapped then i shot it about 10 times with an ascendant bow

If you so happen to have a horse with over 290% melee then just run up and start hind kicking and level 40s run in 7 hits

Avoid! Faster than Tyrannosaurus rex and that makes it almost as dangerous.

to kill build a tall ramp and put spike walls at the bottom so it looks like this /. put a tamed flying creature with a saddle at the top get the carno to charge up the ramp hop on your flying boi and fly away the carno will fall on the traps and die you might want to put the spikes a bit away from the ramp so it doesn’t miss because of momentum. this works with all charging creatures

If you are low level and see one far away, turn around and run. It's a good tip, except there are big passive dinos nearby. Then, just cross, and if it gets aggro on you, lead it to a big dino.

tbh. These things are easy to outrun, just have a bunch of skidish creatures around it

So I was walking up a mountain looking for some gold when I saw a tail I thought 💭what is that?💭but when I went past it hoping to sneak around but I looked and it had horns I was like CARNO! It looked like it was feeding on a Dino corpse so I was planning to sneak around but I was done feeding and it went around the rock and saw me I attempted to run but I got caught between some rocks and it bit me I ran out of those rocks and down the mountain with my shoulder bleeding.I ran around a sharp turn hoping the carno would fly off the mountain and die .but it chased me and injured me with my leg broken and me moving very slow I still ran over to a mountain right before I jumped it snatched me back onto land and ate me alive.so look out for these if your new to the game

To kill it you need a couple of ramps that spike wall thing and a flying creature make a ramp put spike down the back and have your flying creature at the top with saddle get the Carno to run to the top (with you as bait) get on your boy fly slightly of the edge Carno will chase you and fall onto the spike repeat until killed(note this works with all charging creatures)

Don’t sleep on the carno they will tear everything you ever loved with there bleed effect and they will even hurt rexes if the get close enough. The best thing to do is put a bullet in it run or swim away early game

You need a 110% speed to out run a carno but when taamed can kill a low level rex if the carno is medium level

Just wondering, how do you get tranq arrows on mobile?

Even when I was level 14 I managed to knock this out with a bow from the side of a cliff, then I could easily kill it. It gave me a ton of Xp and it was pretty easy

Tried to outrun it it killed my tame tried to put it in the water i forgot i put my other tame on follow now i have no tames carno’s = death

I found a phiomia with my trike then in the middle of taming the phiomia a Carno came out of no where and killed my trike and the phiomia (never go in the jungle by ur self,because…that’s just suicide) they both died so I went to a small island and made them grave stones😢
