I tamed a carno by having my scorpion block the carno then shooting the crossbow with tranq arrows in head

First time i saw carno, i tried to bola but goodness didnot affect him. I runaway but he's so fast and suddenly killed me. Good thing i have my 14 dilo on defense mode and 2 ptera but one of my ptera died. Lol

I'm on mobile and just waited 3 hours for one

Must tame for starters!does huge dmg and has great dps and is easy to tame,just find a spot,and shoot tranqs!

In my new world I was exploring around with a parasaur and dilophosaur (I made the world today okay don't judge) and a carno made my business it's business. After I respawned I went to see where it was and it was right off a cliff from where my house was. I'm thinking in a few levels when I unlock tranq arrows I knock it out and then tame it with my vast supply of meat. But in my other world I've only ever tamed carnos with traps (except for the one time I tamed one on a river lategame). And even though carnos missed arm day they definitely didn't miss leg day and I know they run faster than I can catch up to when they're about to pass out. What do you guys think, should I go for it?

These are very good cave runners considering their size, pump stats into melee and health. Only good for caves without any parkour

If u need to stay away from Carnos and fast dinos lvl up ur speed and mele and then hit it with arrows or tranq arrows from a distance and there u have it a carno or ded carno if u kill it with a tranq arrow and u have a high Mele and ur using a crossbow switch to a bow

One day i was in this multi player server. We were working in our town and we had these litttle pens. We had dodo pen and that thing that found at beach and looks like ankylosauris. I was feed ing the ankylosaur things. But then a AHLPHA FIRE CRANTO came and started killing all de ankylosaur things! I try I’d do and he kill me and one of de ankylosaur things. It funny cuz the ankylosaur things just bounced around and it look like Dey float.

Cuando vayas a tamear un carno haz un minu cubo de dos por dos de cimientos de valla y usa marcos de puerta normales de piedra cuando la trampa esté lista lleva el carno con un volador como un wyvern o a pie.

Y luego dale con flechas y usa una lupa para mirar el torpor.

As a noob I managed over the course of 12 lives to punch a fair level one to sleep and tame it. Run into their legs and punch.

If you would like to tame a carno ride an iguanodon! An iguanodon is faster than a carno so it will be easier for you to tame it! Bring 20-40 trank arrows (i highly doubt it’s going to take all of your frank arrows) but always bring extra! As I was saying earlier, while riding your iguanodon, if your able to go on a high up rock where the carno can’t reach you. Then, keep hitting the carno with trank arrows till it goes unconscious. You don’t have to use prime meat or kibble you can use just normal raw meat I’d suggest maybe bringing 30-35 pieces of meat. One more thing! Make sure you bring 4-6 narcotics for the carno. That’s all! Hope this helps! :)

If you have 385.5 health that’s enough to die two times then you can tame it

I killed carno pretty easily, use high level trike and bow to kill

Get to a ledge and a big bear trap or net projectile it build a stone gate trap (like you would a Argy probably or a square and if you do the square you gonna need 4 gate door thingys) and shoot it with tranqs or darts put mutton or kibble or any type of meat you have and boom you have a carno ( they are good beginner tames or just good in general cuz now they have the bleed attack)

Only good for getting prime meat or mutton.

to tame just shoot it from a far away distense and keep shooting it in the head with tranq darts/arrows

When I knocked one out another carno cale up to me but did not attack mine, maybe because it wanted me more, but I drove it away with my bird

I had seen them around and always been careful around them before (pretty hard to miss and easy to avoid), but my first actual fight with one actually happened inside the base of a tribe I just joined. It spawned INSIDE THE BASE.

I let it chase me into a room and locked the door behind me, only to realise that it was the same room as the tribe fabricator.

It set a bad first impression on the tribe leader and I got kicked out later on for other reasons, but yeah. Don't build your base too big or these guys could spawn in while you're at the smithy and wreck everything inside.

Since they cannot damage stone, it is best to make a taming pen made of stone. A dino gateway with stone doorways and walls on top of those makes for a quick in and out dino taming experience. Safely knock out and tame the carno this way.
