you can tame them right when you get a crossbow and transfer! They run slower then you and faint after 4 arrows(only a low level one) then knock it out and shove food down its throat and play the waiting game

A carno came out of no where I killed it but 2 raptors were there too and they killed me but I killed 1

Heres a story im level 63 im so hapoy im about to unlock argy saddle then when i unlock i prepared some thatch walls then i go to the red woods mountain with my tapejara then i saw a black argy my favorate color then i knicked it out in the ground then i saw i CARNO attacking a doedic i was like nah what could a carno do? Then this happened so he keeps hiiting the doedic shell (IM ON MOBILE JUST SO YOU KNOW) then im out of thatch walls and im about to get thatch when i look backed he killed the argy then i saw a black again! Then i lure it to thr top of red woods mountain then it wont keep following so i attacked it many times with my lv37 tapejara then when were in the top of mountain the argy is only 25 health left then when i shoot it with tranq bullet it died then i saw a silverish whute argy i knocked it on the side of the mountain then theres 3 raptors it attacked it BUT i was so angry i quickly pull out my JOURNEY MAN SWORD then killed all the 3 raptors then i sucessfullytame ar

If u have a bow u can kill this very easily

For rookies: Really easy tame if you have the supplies. Grab about 15-20 tranq arrows and something to shoot them (bow, crossbow, ect.) And get up on a high vantage point where they can't get you. Shoot them to heavens come! And bring some protection while taming, trikes should work.

Once I was taming a raptor. I’d managed to bola one and was about to knock it out, when a carno came running straight at me. I was low level, so I ran like d#cks until it the battle music stopped. The moral? I hate carnos. ( I did kill it later though when I had a sword

62 stones + 2 Slingshot + fondation Wood

I had just joined when it said i was in a dangerous area. To my suprise there was a green carno i squared up and tryed to punch it. It just stood there and screamed. Is that a bug? Anyways were best buds now. If this is a bug please let me know or is it just for begginers.

Tame a carryable Dino on your shoulder(best dimitrodon the bird thing) if you see one throw it and book it best way worked on a lvl450 I play mobile hardcore brutal so that’s why 450

If there us a alpha Carno use a argi to kill it it goes rlly fast use lots of health and damage also get high weight it will rlly rlly help for collecting items

My first carno I killed my hiding in a thatch 2x2 and just hit it on the head until it died

If you are a low level(1-15)RUN

When encountering this dino try to avoid making direct contact because they attack on sight.

THIS IS EASY to tame. You literally only need about 5 tranq arrows in a crossbow and it gets distracted easily ;)

Have it attack your dinos whilst they’re behind a suitable wall or gate. You then tranquilise it from a vantage point, a ramp would be suitable.

Build a two by three long stone platform and make a stone Dino gateway and gate and put it on the two platform. Stack stone doorways until it reaches the height of the gate. Put ceilings over the top. Open the door and aggro a carno into it by running and then through the doorways. Run around and close the door, then tranq it till knocked out. Happy Taming!

Barayonx is better would only tame 4 kibble

Build pin with stone dino gates stone foundations and stone doorframes have a quetz and just pick him/her up drop in pin and tranq

6 stone foundations with a Dino gate and stone door frames all around.. Trap them and make sure you have enough tranq arrows at least 80 that was my experience..
