This is the complete easiest way to knock out a carno... if it's lvl 25 or under then this might work... step 1 : get a parasaur atleast lvl 35 or higher... go to the place you saw the carno and make sure you brought a box and Trang arrows or a crossbow and Trang arrows.. shoot at the carno with it . Step 2 : once it's knocked out cold get some meat.. make sure you have meat on you.. if you dont then kill a parasaur, pteranadon, carbyonemys, or something else that could give prime meat!. Step 3 : put the meat in the carnos inventory and wait.. make sure it had enough torpor to tame.. and if it doesn't then give it barcoberries or narcotics. And force feed it to the carno.. step 4 : once the carnos tamed then name it and go on a killing spree killing every trike, carbyonemys, phiomia, dodo, lystro, and diloph that you can to get your carnos xp up.. get atleast 2-4lvls Nad then do some other sh!t..

HOW TO TAME A CARNO
PREPARATION
At least 20 or so tranq arrows, (get as many as you need, check Dododex’s KO section), use a crossbow if you can to speed up the process. Get regular kibble, and if you don’t have one, then get a lot of meats, preferably prime meat. You do not need a trap for the carnotaurus; level up your speed and stamina a bunch of times and you can outrun the Carno. If you think this is dangerous, use a quetzal with platform saddle, or use a natural terrain like a small cliff.
KNOCK OUT
Here comes the intense part, knockout. Even if it may seem intimidating, knocking the Carno out is fairly simple. All you have to do is to find a spot, go on a quetzal with platform saddle, or run while shooting tranq arrows at the Carno. When the Carno is running away, chase after it, if you are on foot, this is where your speed comes in to play. Keep a safe distance away from the carnotaurus though because sometimes they fight back and fake you out. Shoot another few times until it’s knocked out.
FEEDING
Once it’s knocked out, you can feed it the kibble or the meats you have. You can stay next to it while it’s asleep or take the safer option, go away from it since they usually stay in dangerous areas. Once you are far away from the Carno, the server will stop making creatures attack each other. Use Dododex’s taming timer and wait until it’s done. Go back to it and voila! You have successfully tamed a Carno. (Unless you are like me and a Spino suddenly spawned and killed my Carno the first time)
WARNINGS
Do not use bolas on him, it does not work. Get him to a safe area before attempting to tame him because he is not the strongest nor smartest creature in ARK. Only use bows, crossbows, and other high torpor low damage weapons like longneck with tranq darts. Don’t think taming a Carno makes you the boss of ARK, raptors can still jump you from the shadows and pounce you off.
FEATURES
The Carno is a great harvester of meats and is a good early ~ mid-game tame to have. It is a great fighter, protecting you in many scenarios if you live in the southern part of the island, you will be completely safe (mostly).

how to tame annoying ahh carnos that kill most dino’s and you:
1. get bow (level 10) and tranq arrows (level 21)
2. make a trap for it (u can easily find on yt)
3. find carno and shoot tranq arrows while u run to ur trap and trap it
4. shoot tranq arrows until it is unconscious.
5. feed it meat (raw meat, raw mutton, prime meat,etc)
6. boom, u got a carno.
tranq arrows are unlocked at level 21 but need narcotics (level 6) which are craftable at a Mortar and Pestle with Nacroberries (black ones) and Spoiled meat (keep any meat in ur inventory for along time to make it spoil).
Very easy taming:
Step 1 look for scorpions
Step 2 tame
Step 3 mount it
Step 4 look for carno, rex, etc.
Step 5 just attack they dont agro insects (evil laugh)
Step 6 watch as they fall unconcious
Step 7 shove prime meat down their throat
Step 8 wait or roam around the map
Step 9 tap yourself for a job well done in taming
Step 10 become the boss of the whole island (evil laugh)
I am currently taming a carno rn so here’s some tips for new players: low levels need like 7 tranq arrows! Use carb (the turtle) for tanking hits or use iguanadon to jump onto a rock and shoot there! DO NOT USE BOLAS THEY DONT WORK!! Use normal kibble or raw prime meat (in my situation I am using raw meat). Btw u get their saddle at lvl 48! Hope y’all use this!

DO NOT USE NORMAL BOLA, almost died due to a untrue tip
Alright guys! Lord Fred saw that message you gave him. It’s time to tame a Carnotaurus!
Step 1: go locate a single one. It’s important because other ones will follow. DO NOT GO FOR A YUTY CARNO GROUP U WILL VANISH!
Step 2: this is a u can but u don’t have to. Build a trap with stone. It’s easy and leases the pain on u.
Step 3: tranquilize it. It is only tranq method.
And feed him and 123….. poof 💥 u tamed him!

I highly recommend getting up high on a boulder or getting the carno stuck somewhere while knocking it out. Unless you are a high level, you will not be able to outrun it.
First giant carnivore I tamed, named it Jade.
I remembered that second, everything frozen, the alpha Rex’s bite, my bronto’s attack that finished the alpha Rex off… seeing all my tames lying on the thing that was my once indestructible base… Jade was at my side.
Starting over, traveling to the hidden lakes, almost killed by raptors… Jade’s final stand at the footpaw peninsula where I tamed her, me helplessly watching Jade and the spino both crash to the ground…
