For the players that can get bows get a bow and then get tranq arrows get to heighground the start shooting it until that boy/girl starts doin the flop!

One way to tame them is by using any meat and narcotics. Remember to bring LOTS of rotten meat and narcoberries for it. Use a crossbow with tranq arrows at a safe distance and knock it out. Afterwards, start the taming. Idk from there but this method is working for me. Just keep a close eye on it so it does not wake up on you, that is all that matters.

first make a wooden cage and go inside and shoot the carno, it can hurt you I tamed it in the cage

One time I saw one and I was taming a peligurns and a carto came and was like dude don’t mine me just killing your tame

Okay to tame this thing without a trap is to stand on a rock and shoot its body or tail until it faints. After that, I recommend prime meat which isn’t hard to find for me since you can wait with your pterodactyls and punch it out with boas and praying for them to drop prime meat. And BOOM. There you go

When it puts its head down, it's vulnerable to easy head shots, weather that be by ranged or melee. The best melee would be the sword especially with the knock back, and shotgun for burst damage.

btw for some reason its "you have entered a dangerous area" goes away at lvl 51

How to tame carno:

You will need: icthy with saddle, A nearby leed, a pteranodon with saddle, a carno that you want to tame and (preferably nearby, so your prime meat doesn't rot) 20-25 tranq arrows and a bow. Step 1: After locating a nearby carno hop on your icthy. Step 2: keep scraping meat off your leed, until you get prime fish meat. Step 3: Get your tranq arrows and bow, and fly until you find your carno, and then land on a high rock. Step 4: Get the carno's attention, and get it stuck between two trees. Step 5: hit it with tranq arrows until it's unconsious. Step 6: Give the carno the prime fish meat, and wait. Step 7: Think of a name for your carno while its taming. Suggestions: Toro, Hot Dog, Lil arms and name it according to its colour. ( Moss, Sea foam, Blaze etc.) Step 8: Once its tamed, make sure no dangerous creatures are nearby.(rex, spino, allo pack, etc) Step 9: Hop on your pteranodon, and if the rock is too high request it. Fly back to your base. Step 10: request your carno and name it. Step 11: Congrats! You tamed a carno!

These beautiful creatures are great for starters and two of them can take down a t rex

Find a cliff then lead it to the bottom of the cliff make it lose interest in you climb the cliff and use arrows or darts to put it to sleep making sure you are on top of the cliff

I highly recommend taming a high level one my 258 can killed a 80 alpha Carno

I don’t know if this is just me but I feel like the carno is a fairly easy tame to get once you have a bow and a mount you can shoot off the back of

This is a great carnivore to play with while you're in you're early game it's like a T-Rex but easy to tame you will feel like a cowboy after riding this but you cannot shoot from it I wish wildcard change it and btw it's like a bull when you ride it

If you want to tame these, 100% go to Scorched Earth. Go to the mountains areas (I went to the north mountains) and find heaps of carnos. Kill the sabers and thorny Dragons (or whatever’s around) and get an easy carno tame. There are so many that I found a high level within 10 minutes (and high levels are hard to find on SE)

In the wild these guys arent very dangerous. But a tamed one with a saddle is menacing. It can ring quicker than a rex. Its stronger than a raptor and also ignored by raptors. They only have one downside and that is that it has a slow stamina regeneration. But other than that. This is amazing as a tame. And is also pretty safe to tame cause raptors won't attack it.

Have 3ladders, 3 pillars, and 1 trapdoor frame

Not to strong but will help in your ark world and make it go somewhere it can't get distracted or aggroed off of you and if u have one I suggest leveling up its hp,melee or speed
