Thank god the Bruce Wayne thing left it was really annoying btw get it distracted on something like structure and creature for easy headshot if it aggro fly away and repeat or just drop in taming pen

Im a total noob and this is how i tamed one

I used a high level trik for meat shield

About 20 tranqs

I attacked one with bow on my trik and faced the trik to the carno. The carno started to glitch in trik head and let me shoot it when im completly safe

They should make it that raptors are not able to pounce you off of carno

I was taming a 60 Carno after a wile it is 19 narcs not 18

How to tame a carno.

1. Get to level 21 and unlock tranq arrows

2. Craft tranq arrows

3. Go to a spot with minimal other predators (the island right under the rhynogantha swamp)

3. Shoot it until it falls

4. Think to yourself, why did all these people say to build a trap

5. Give it meat

6. Realize the saddle is not at level 21 😟

You can use a normal argy trap to trap it. 18 walls (use door frame option), 1 stone gateway, 1 stone reinforced gate, 2 stone ramps at the front. Lead the thing into the trap and then run out the doorframe, go around to the front and close the door. Once its trapped tranq it out and tame. Its kibble is medium, or you can use prime meat.

Go to the creature and run find a high place like a big Rock or something that is high enough that it is out of reach of u then just fill it with

Trance

I got mine by riding on a tanky dino then using tranq arrows while the dino takes hits

They make decent poop factories when given stimberries. No idea why some Dino’s do and some don’t 🤷‍♀️

You might confuse carnos with allos but I know that allos make a snarl, grunt, snarl snarl and carnos make a snarl, snarl, grunt, grunt grunt sound. Also allos glow when they are alpha and carnos do the opposite of allos.

If you tame a higher level one, this is the perfect mount for the Artifact of the Hunter.

It fits in the cave, and since there are many explorer notes in there, you can easily level you and the carno up with all the creatures that spawn in the cave.

When I encounter my carno I use my crossbow with Tranq arrow and it kills me. And when I came back I go under it and I punch it until it gets knocked out.

These guys normally spawn in grasslands I saw one hunting a Triceratops when one came to my area

I killed o 3 of these suckers with 4 arrows i also sall a carno picking on a stego and the won with 3 tail shots

It is very cheap to tame just a bit needed

Taming a carno is easy all you need to do is have 10 tranq arrows and shoot it and if get stuck you will get gobbled up

Do you want to have a peaceful life without these mfs? Well I have the solution for you!

1st get around 18-20 Primitive arrows

2nd find some low level annoying ahh carnos (check the jungle they usually spawn there)

3rd get on a rock

4th find a carno attacking a pack of raptors or attacking a trike

5th shoot the carno with your arrows

6th make sure that the aim is good or you’ll miss a arrow and that arrow might be the arrow you need later

7th 7 arrows should kill it

8th do the griddy infront go the dead carno

9th use a axe or metal axe to harvest the corpse which should give you lots of raw meat ( I got 6 groups of 40 raw meat )

10th use the raw meat and turn 2 groups into cooked meat and turn one group into rotten meat to make narcotics

11th now go look for more and once you find more do my steps starting from 3

IM SO SHOCKED RIGGht Now this is my story: so one day I was playing ark like I always do I was riding my parasail and that’s when I was on a rock watching all the Dino’s fight that’s when a raptor knocked me off my para and I died so I went back to the spot and the raptor was gone so I took my whole entire Dino’s my Dino’s: Iguanas Dodos carbos Ptera something and dilos so I was made and took all of my Dino’s except the dodos bc I was making a dodo army and my dodos were a little weak and so when I arrived my para was getting heated by a carno so I set the target the carno and NONE of my Dino’s died except my beaten para I was pretty sad bc that was the para that was with me even after my two first paras died but I was shocked bc of how strong my Dino’s were they once killed a raptor when my Dino’s were a group of 6 they also once killed a patchy and carbo :) Byw if you wanna kill a carno Atleast have five dilos at lv 26 or 24 and make sure to only add their level ups to damage if you have a dilo that’s only at 100 health pls make sure to level their health to 300 or 200 it’s recommended tho You can like this comment if you want I just shared this encounter because it’s pretty insane if you ask me ;)
